The whole world is in a kind of far future post apocalypse where nature has taken back most things but people are still kicking around.

Planes seem to be the only real way to get out of one's settlement.

I believe the MC, a guy, received a plane and used it to get errands done for people. Lots of really cool/beautiful set pieces, like giant plants that people have settled on. Super relaxed atmosphere/pacing for the most part.

I'd really like to find it again.
