How true.
I remember when you were considered rich just for having a dollar (so many possibilities), now you're poor if all you have is just a dollar.
How we have change.
On a side note a dollar here is considered (approximately) 33 pesos in my country. And you can buy so many things with just that.

in India a dollar is about 48 rupees and
you could get four plates of breakfast with that.
or
two plates of lunch/dinner
or
four 1 liter water bottles
or
about 5 cokes (12oz glass bottles and you have to return the bottles after u drink)
or
a pack of cigarettes
or
45 minutes of talk time on your cell phone etc., etc., etc., ....

You could buy a notebook! ...A smallish, low-quality one, but that's what I generally get whenever my sister drags me into the dollar store. Or package of pencils. Either works 😀
