I notice that manga series' delete themselves from my lists; is this normal and does it have to do with me not updating them for a certain period of time?
How can I prevent this from happening in the future? 😀

It's gotta be something on your end. None of the code for lists has been changed recently. No one else has ever reported this issue.

I've noticed this too happening to me. It only happens to my reading list, not any of the other lists. I've taken to putting a lot of stuff on my wishlist.

...Weird. I'd advise changing your password. My guess is that someone knows your password and is accessing your account & messing with your lists. (Also, you're not logging into MU on a public computer, and not logging out, are you? Just closing the window won't log you out, so anyone who goes to MU again will be already logged in as you and could mess with your stuff. Peeps could even be messing with stuff if you walk away from your computer temporarily while logged in here.) Also I wonder, maybe you've got a virus on your computer?

Edit: Okay, I thought of something, so I did a quick experiment. But even if you added a series under a name that gets deleted, it still stays on your list under that name, so that can't be the problem. It's got to be on the user end.

I'm that hoarder who records all of the manga I've read, I don't delete anything, but I do move manga around to different lists occasionally, maybe that's it ?

I've never logged in to this site on a public computer. No viruses for many years.

I understand stating something has been erased relies heavily on the accuracy of my memory - I don't record what I've read anywhere but here so I don't have anywhere to compare it to, but I noticed this happening when the manga that I frequently update/check would be either erased from my lists or would revert to chapter 1 (Eyeshield 21, D.N.A.ngel, Hell's Kitchen, otoyomegatari, et c.). Like the other users said, maybe it has to do with them being on the main reading list ?

I just went through a long period where I didn't read any manga, but I'll update if I notice this happening again. I'll try to pay attention to where it happens too (custom lists vs. reading list, and so on). Thank-you for replying.

Yeh, I sorta noticed this when I checked some recommended mangas that I'm sure was on my List,
I was like o_O, cause the manga wasnt on my list...

I thought i just misclicked or removed it by accident, but the chances are slim...
