  1. BERSERK: greatest manga ever made. period.

  2. 20th Century Boys-21st Century Boys: masterpiece in every area and would be my top favourite if Berserk didnt exist.

  3. Gantz: art is fantastic, better than Vagabond imo. i also like how a lot of the information in the manga is omitted and yet it is possibly an even better read than if the info were given to us(the readers).

4.Vagabond: great art, great manga. biggest problem is that reading 26 volumes of vagabond is pretty much equal to about 10 volumes in any other manga. wish the manga wasnt based off of a an old novel so that inoue might be able to take it a bit longer, maybe, say 40 volumes.

  1. Hajime No Ippo: granted, this manga looked really stupid the first time i saw it. art looked horrendous. after reading it however, the rough art style really fits the story and setting. and i love it.

Argh. I don't have a top five favorite manga.
All I know is that my all-time favorite manga is Gravitation and my current in second is Wild Adapter ^_^
I love way too many 🙄

  1. Berserk - I could give a speech as to why I like berserk so much bt I don't think I Need to

  2. Blade Of The Immortal - Same applies

  3. Gunnm (including Last Order) - I don't really feel like saying anything, it's just awesome

  4. Monster - Compelling. I suggest reading the first volume without knowing anything prior, it makes it more interesting. Thats what I did

  5. Beck - I don't really know why I like this one so much. Of course, maybe it's hard for me to formulate my thoughts at 4 am
    🤢

I wont bother reading all posts so dunno if theres already mentioned manga.... and there probably is..... anyway here:

  1. Slam Dunk. after thinking for like 10 mins i chose this its just a greatly written story +great character +Art by Takehiko Inoue... need i say more?

2.Hikaru no Go. The feeling i got reading is just uncomparable... yes i know "Go...?
isnt that a board game?" you would think that no one can make anything out of a lame subject like Go(i did at least) but dont let the subject scare you way from this greatness they call Hikaru no Go.... its all there the story and the art is both Top notch u will not be dissapointed in this manga

3.D.Gray-Man..... The uncrowned king of the Shonen Genre.... Screw Naruto, shove One piece up yours and dont even mention Bleach. This is definately THE best shonen out there the key of it's greatness is that its aimed for the more mature audinence of shonen. Overall a great manga u will have good time reading it

4.Vagabond. Another first class manga by Takehiko Inoue i really dont know how he does it. Action, Drama and a hint of romance with the art by inoue which is like eating fried chicken with your eyes and the story is about musashi miyamoto one of the best swordsmane EVER. the manga cant be bad can it?

5.Gantz. when i read the back cover of this manga i said to myself that i will do whatever it takes to read this manga.. so i read it and im glad to tell you im not dissapointed the story is unvelivably hard to predict and there twists going around everywhere and most importantly NO ONE is safe and i mean no one u just dont know when someone will die and u will be like 😲 over half of the time you reading this manga which is why it made my top 5. the art is unique not that unique is bad but i might not be for everyone... and lastly about the rating this manga is definately worth a 17+ rating

😃

Hmm can't decide if it's for all time but here's top 5 in no particular order.

See a lot of people mentioning GTO and yeah it just pure awesome.
Love Hina because it's one of the first mangas that I read where I actually cared for the characters.
Slam Dunk it's just great right at the start and continues all the way until the pretty crappy ending though.

.. what only 2 more spots?? Hmm that's hard to decide..
I guess One piece and uh... yotsuba will have to do.

Honorable mention goes to Claymore (ongoing but the character development is just great), Chobits, Battle Royale and Yakitate Japan! and yeah want to mention more but then it wouldn't really be top 5 now would it..

  1. Claymore. - I watched the anime first, and fell in love with it. Its the best ever. A great amount of violence, yet there is also a plot and overall story. Theres the tinge of fantasy I enjoy, not to mention the characters have such choices, yet no choices at all. So entertaining. I suggest it to everyone.
    • 666 Satan. - Great manga. Its a bit slow at times, but the characters are really good, and the overall plot is great. My favorite character would have to be Satan. So entertaining.
    • Ares. - A Good amount of violence, with a good plot. However, no only that, I love all the plot twists. They are all so great, the plot twists are. So wonderful. One of the best manga I have ever read.
4.- Hikaru No Go - I completely forgot I had ever read this manga until yesterday. It was a bit slow, but it was great. This is the manga that really got me into manga in general. No violence at all, but its still great.
    • XXXHolic. - I love things I don't understand properly, and I am always confused yet enlightened by what Yuuko says. I love words of wisdom, and Yuuko has so much of it, I can't stop reading it. Its a bit slow though.

Ok, I am afraid I need to have another one. XD
6. - Beauty Pop. - No plot really, but it made me laugh so hard for so long, its really great. I suggest it to everyone.
