About definitions/meanings
Had this going around my mind sometimes, so discussing it could be a good way to get rid of it, I thought 🤣
I understand the importance of definitions, but sometimes I think that people exagerate that importance. I have found myself laughing after reading a word's deffinition in a dictionary sometimes too, and found myself unable to explain in which sense I'm using certain words, even if I know it's the correct one. So it can be quite perplexing for me 🤣
As for the words I don't know, sometimes I look them up in a dictionary, or try to understand them using the context when I'm lazy or don't have a dictionary at hand (or computer with internet conection nearby).
So, overall, I'm just around average when it comes to them. 🤣

I guess I'd call myself above average. Sometimes I catch myself trying to define a pretty specific sense of a word and keep rejecting ones that come to mind because they're not precise enough. Or my friend would use a word in a phrase or something and I'd comment. But she usually comments back just as often, so I guess we're just odd like that?
But then there are other times when I just say what comes to my mind, which I guess is what most people do, anyways. Thus the "above average" characterization. meh..

I think I'm slightly above average. I can't stand it when words are used improperly and I try very hard not to do so. I've corrected people many times and I'm sure I will again.

probably above average
i'm just a tad above average because i would reject definitions if i dont understand them.i only want my definitions to be short, sweet and simple, but still understandable.you get it?
i want my definitions straight to the point.
I'm on the extreme seeing as even though friends do use the correct terms I still disregard them sometimes and try to find a synonym that would better suit their sentence.
I don't really care
as long as the one using it
doesn't make him-/herself look
like a retard.

Quote from kaerfehtdeelb
use it right, or don't use it at all.
Absolutely the truth.
Don't throw words in without knowing the meaning and connotations of the word, and how it should be used in a sentence.
Simple, clean and easy to read sounds much more intelligent compared to misused language.
Make sure your grammar is correct too.
