i really like the Slide Work.

Slide Work was interesting. I was using a brass slide, and some of the polish wore off, so there is a bit of scratchy ness on the end of it. I would have been longer if that hadn't of happened.

Interesting stuff. Slide Work has a very western feel to it, probably intentionally so. I do approve.

I was going for a more Louisiana type swamp blues feel on that one. I guess you can pull a western feel out of that. I stole a couple licks from Lightnin Hopkins on that one.

Maybe it would be more accurate to equate it to a 'rural' type of sound? That encompasses a little bit more then either western or swamp blues, but doesn't stray from what it's actually conveying.

i really like "Placid"

and "Burnt Oil" is ok, but not my fav song from there.

they sound good. my only major complaint is that your not buddy guy and therefore i cant listen to him while i listen to you =P.
