Suwa x Naho for me.Suwa is like theonly victim in that manga the past chapters and he is doing all the work while everyone else is crying.Kakeru, from the other hand, all cute and sweet, should move on,bc life goes on.He is lucky to have these amazing friends.Suwa and Naho have a child together so preventing that child birth in this time is cruel,so I hope that Kakeru lives and Suwa and Naho end up together.I dont want the one thing saving Kakeru,to kill suwa. 😔 😔

KakeruxNaho.
In the manga is said that if they change their future, the old version of them will still remain, like a parallel world. So, since in the future Suwa gets Naho plus a child, in this version I want NahoxKakeru :3 I mean, she loved him even in the future and they decided to save him, so they should end up happily together.
But I have to say that even a future where they save kakeru and then Naho realizes that she loves Suwa the most wouldn't bother me too much, bc he's always been there for her, both future and past. 😃 😃

Yeah, but don't you think he deserves to be with someone who loves him the way he loves her. He will always only be a consolation prize to Naho. Even after 15 years of marriage and a kid, she still regretted the past. There are too many guys in Manga perfectly happy with being the 2nd choice. Not me. If I though for one moment my wife didn't love me as much as I love her or that she's thinking about someone else, I would hand her a packed suitcase and wish her the best of luck.

He relly seems to like Naho. But I do not like him to end up with Naho after reading that last scanlated chapter.

I agree with this.
I like Suwa but not with Naho. Even after having a child, it seem though that Naho likes Kakeru more tha Suwa.
Why the hell does she need to cry after hearing that Kakeru likes her, its kind of like she regretted being with Suwa.

I think it's important to understand that there's a difference between wanting to save someone's life and loving someone.

Just because you're sad about their death, and just because you cherish them as a human being and would do anything to prevent their suicide from ever happening, doesn't necessarily mean you should've ended up with that person.

In fact, I consider the idea of Naho dating Kakeru and being the only barrier between him and his dark suicidal thoughts, to be overwhelmingly toxic. This isn't a good foundation for a healthy, functioning relationship in the future. You need to find your own inner strength to live. You can't just center your will to live based upon another human being. They're only human, too, and they can only do so much. It's not right that Naho has currently centered her whole world around his thoughts and emotions. She's taken everything about his depression upon herself, but she can't help what she says or who she is sometimes.

I know her friends are helping out, especially Suwa, but everyone keeps saying time and time again that Naho is "the key to saving Kakeru" because Kakeru loves her. I don't even want to think about what would happen if they ever broke up.

That being said, I voted for Hagita x Azu!

This. Exactly this. This is an example if an unhealthy relationship. Hopefully, WITH Naho's and their friends' help, Kakeru finds that inner strength.
So the ending was good in the sense it was the beginning of Kakeru's recovery.

Predictable ending. Yeah not a fan of Naho being so... selfish? Not sure if that's the right word. The way he talks about Kakeru with Suwa with their kid feels so wrong. I can only imagine that she would be fine erasing both (their timeline) if it meant getting Kakeru back. Surprise no one call her out on the way she keeps thinking/talking about her regrets with Kakeru when she's already with Suwa and their kid.

I would've prefer Kakeru still dying but not by suicide. He would be happy instead of wishing to die but still dies because that's his destiny but this time he dies with no regrets/depression. Gets to tell he loves Naho and no longer feels bad for what happen to his parents. Would be a bitter sweet ending. The current ending while bitter sweet too was a little too on the predictable side.

I'm glad other people have noticed how extremely deranged Naho is. You don't "save" someone from suicide by being their boyfriend/girlfriend, especially not at that stupid age. It's hard work for mature adults to keep up a good relationship and this manga is really being blase about putting so much responsibility on a teenager as well in how it tries to hand wave out the moral implications of someone having such an immense amount of regret over a friends suicide that they're willing to do erase the existence of their own kid.

I remember early on in the series Kakeru says something to Naho about how she's just like a "mom" and then I thought to myself, "No mom I know would sacrifice her baby for a highschool crush, at least not a good one."

KakeruxNaho. Because that's who she loved. And don't get me wrong, I loved Suwa to pieces, but if Kakeru hadn't committed suicide, there's no doubt in my mind that he would not have even stood a chance. She loved Kakeru up to the very end and for a long time afterwards--I believe she still did even once she's married Suwa.

And for the record, Naho didn't think that she could heal Kakeru by being his girlfriend 🙄 . She just tried to show him that she loved him and wanted him around, as did his other friends. She just happened to fall in love with him in the process. And let's not forget that these were kids. I can't speak for the adult Naho, but the young Naho was not really equipped to properly deal with depression and suicidal thoughts. Hell, most adults in the real world can't even properly deal with it when friends and/or family member suffer from it, so I think we can cut the kid some slack.

Kakeru and Naho hands down.

What people don't seem to understand with Naho and Suwa is...

She would have never gotten together with him if Kakeru had survived. Futura Suwa knew that too. Hell, Orange Mirai shows that their relationship isn't as great as it seems. Naho clearly is still hung up on Kakeru and that causes a strain in her relationship with Suwa. People love Suwa, but don't ever seem to bring up the fact that he was only like that because of the influence of the letters. The original Suwa (Futura Suwa) was a selfish asshole who pounced on Naho when she was in a very fragile state after Kakeru's death. Even before that, the original Suwa knew that they liked each other. He also knew Kakeru was a good friend so that's why he told Kakeru that he confessed to Naho in the original timeline. He knew about their fight and also knew Kakeru would support them.

Orange is one of my favorite shoujo manga. I've choose Suwa&Naho Couples. That's don't mean that I don't like Kakeru, On the contrary, in the future when Kakeru isn't there, I was so sad. But Suwa is very kind and he has helped them too much, so that I think he is deserve the hero! although I wanted to choose Hagita&Azu 🤣 But I think the End was Perfect. in the present Kakeru the hero, In the future Suwa the hero, What a nice end 😳

"Kakeru, from the other hand, all cute and sweet, should move on,bc life goes on.He is lucky to have these amazing friends."

That's pretty much the sort of thinking that made Kakeru dislike Naho. The man truly loved his mother and was hopeless and helplessly gutted that his text message killed her. But yeah, just "should move on", right? That's exactly the reason he stayed home, found his mother's phone at home with her response saying "I'm sorry for being a trouble for you, now you are free". Then he went rampage out with his bike and ended hitting a truck. Of course the single message didn't kill, but it was a strong trigger to something that then could no longer ever be changed.

"Look, I lost my parents as a kid, and because of what I did and said, my mother killed herself, but lemme just move on, right?"

Good grief, did you even read the manga? Naho liked Kakeru because it was fun "stealing the Tokyo guy from the #1 popular girl in the school", and then was upset he died after rejecting her because of a comment she made, despite their relative connection. However, she was always attracted by the good-looking, strong, big/tall and extrovert "kipu-kun", so all's good, right? There is no way Naho "loved only Kakeru" like she said. Naho loved herself and herself only, like all teenagers, girls or otherwise, or actually pretty much anybody in this world. We just like to fool ourselves about a "true love" that's just a cultural myth. We are here for our own interest, pleasure, ego and survival only. Which is sad really. I like to read manga to ever find something like a genuine love, but I have never found it. Probably because it doesn't exist.

That said, I read up to volume 6 because I didn't find the 7th (yet) lol.
