Your thread title is 'sexual orientation' and poll title is 'what's your sexual orientation', not 'who's not hetrosexual' so don't act like we didn't read your post. Polls are for everyone to vote on. It's not a census.

Wouldn't it help to measure how many non-hetero people there are if you had a heterosexual population to compare to? Unless, what you're actually looking for is seeing how many people within the non-hetero population on this site fall into the different LGBT(Q?) categories, then carry on.

Yeah, this is what I was going for with my first post. I'm almost surprised that it needed elaborating.
Phrase your topic, header & OP better and actually offer all options, possibly dropping heterosexual if you don't want comparison numbers between that and the minorities. Asexual -option is definitely something that is missing from the initial poll.
