today i was having a chat with a friend about aprons and i was suddenly reminded of a manga i read not long ago that included a specific scene. it was a shounen ai/yaoi and in the main story the lighter haired boy was cooking and the other boy imagined him only wearing a frilly apron. and then i believe he made a comment in his head like "but reality is this" and the boy in the kitchen was just in casual clothes with a normal apron.
later in an extra (?) for probably just one page he thinks about the apron again and actually asks the boy to wear one without anything else on this time and he surprisingly agrees. the apron he worse this time was frilly and probably had a heart on the chest area LOL.
some other details that i sort of remember are that the other more casual apron could have been in the wash at the time and the boy not cooking might have been a lousy cook or a hindrance and was kicked out of the kitchen before.

i could be mixing some of this up and thinking about multiple stories i read so hopefully this is fairly close and any of it rings a bell to someone! thanks in advance
