What's really sad is that it makes up ~10th of mine >_<.

TURN 22 summary, commentary, and predictions. Sorry that I'm a bit late, I was tired and decided to sleep instead of staying up to watch it live.

This episode was pretty difficult to translate. Lelouch speaks very formally throughout it, and uses connotations that I don't know very well, so it's likely to be less accurate than usualy.

Summary:

-I'll say it: Pirate Hat.
-Lelouch reduces the royal family to common servants.
-Xing-ke knows that Lelouch is Zero (and presumably so does Kaguya.) He also says that Lelouch isn't a good Emperor.
-Diethard has joined Schneizel permanently.
-Lelouch plans to restore the numbered zones to their original status.
-CC is in the Empress' seat (lol)
-Lelouch became Emperor for the sake of a plan he calls the "Zero Requiem"
-Suzaku faces Bismark and Dorothea (the Knight of four, who the website claims is "as heroic as Bismark" in the Albion. Dorothea dies within seconds her first line.
-Suzaku destroys most of the following force, including Monica. We never see her KMF (I guess they didn't want to design a new one?)
-Suzaku tells Gino that he's "betraying Britannia" unless he joins their side. Gino becomes momentarily confused.
-Bismark taunts Suzaku with the fact that he's KoO, Suzaku responds that he's a greater knight because he's Knight of Zero. Bismark claims that a Knight's worth doesn't come from his title >>.
-Bismark's geass reads the future (Nightmare of Nunnally style)
-Lelouch gets tricky and says that for the sake of the Zero Requiem, Suzaku must live. It activates the live command and allows him to surpass Bismark's future sight.
-Bismark dies calling Marianne's name.
-Lelouch announces his intent to join the UFN on global broadcast. He intends to meet with them at Ashford.
-Anya is on Schneizel's side for now :(.
-Lelouch ignores Rivalz entirely, but Nina saves him from the guards.
-Kallen and Lelouch go for a walk, Kallen basically recaps their relationship, and asks him why he saved her and what he thinks of her. She kisses him (uninterrupted this time).
-She then says "Goodbye, Lelouch". Lelouch also says goodbye quietly, without making his feelings clear, although he does sound somewhat sad.
-Lelouch enters the meeting and Kaguya surrounds him with a metal barrier to prevent usage of his geass. He is then questions by Xing-ke and Ougi and Toudou, who believe that he's only trying to use the UFN for personal gain.
-He basically says that he intends to "Crush the world" and Suzaku breaks in through the roof of the building, holding the leaders of the UFN hostage.
-Orange and the rest of the britannian military move to block the Black Knights from interfering.
-Schneizel uses FLEIA on Pendragon (Britannia's capital) destroying everything within a range of 300 kilometers?
-Lelouch yells at Schneizel via intercom for wanting to be Emperor. Scheneizel says "you're wrong, I won't be Emperor. This girl will". The camera shifts to Nunnally.
-Nunnally announces herself as Lelouch and Suzaku's "enemy".
Here we go again! It's even more absurd than I had imagined --;;. Although it is a pretty good play by Schneizel, I would've had Nunnally merely support Cornelia's campaign.

Updated Predictions (may contain influences from external material.)

-My main new prediction is Kallen's death >_>. Actually having her make her feelings clear removes her plot armor, so her gum quote makes it so he can't depress her with the knowledge that he does love her, but won't be with her since he's Emperor.
-Damocles is basically an airship equipped with tons of FLEIA.
-Nina discovers how to nullify the effects of FLEIA, and ceases being a scientist at the end.
-Xing-ke is the one that actually destroys Damocles.
-Nunnally is doing everything in an attempt to absolve Lelouch's sins, which she feels responsible for.
-CCxLelouch is still technically possible, but the only way it can happen is if fulfilling the contract destroys geass (as a plot device, it's the only way that CC's code and Lelouch's geass can vanish). She has to have her wish fulfilled in some way by the ending, and since she did regain her memory it's hard to say at this point. A lonely ending for Lelouch is pretty likely at this point, or a lover's suicide type deal.
-Lelouch still has to be punished for his geass, so Nunnally has a pretty big death flag.

Honestly, this episode was alright, but there were a lot of extremely disappointing parts (especially the lack of certain KoR KMFs). It's like they're rushing in an attempt to resolve everything but don't quite know how to do it.

EDIT: spoiler for something in the preview.

-Preview includes a scene of Kallen and Gino talking. They might be trying to force that pairing >_>.
-Nunnally has a queen chess piece detonator/switch thing (like Lelouch's king one).
-CC gets a pink Lancelot of her own. (really).

Final edit for what I find to be the Greatest Thing Ever (tm):
Nunnally now has a massive negative fan following. >_>.
Reason: The Lelouch fanboys strike again. I've seen comments like "how could she betray her brother!?" and "She must be an idiot!" all over the place without any regard for logic or character motivation (not that her being alive is logical in any way, shape, or form).
Suzaku's haters have vanished by large numbers as well, it's really quite odd. I guess I was completely correct- it's all about who opposes Lelouch. [/arrogant gloating].

After the past couple episodes, I'm kinda figuring that it's gonna along the route of Lelouch sacrificing/killing himself in order to take out Schneizel and those who follow him.

Well Crenhinibon I'm not one of those newly converted Nunnaly Haters, I actually understand why she is doing this, just not why she is alive -_-' even though I am happy she is alive, although I don't think she'll have long to live now though, even if Lulu goes into crazy/depressed Mode again.

My Guesses at who lives and who dies

Lulu = dead
Nunnaly = dead
Suzaku = alive
CC = alive
Kallen = alive
Cornelia = alive, betraying Her Brother dunno why but I get this feeling
Lloyd = alive
Nina = dead
Mister Final Boss = dead, killed by either Lulu or Cornelia...
Jeremiah = dead, dies protecting Lulu or trying to Save Nunnaly
Gino = alive
Ohgi = alive
as for the others I either can't remember their names or I'm not sure lol, I wonder how many I'll get right

I must say that the past two episodes have been the biggest WTF episodes of any series (anime or not) that I have ever seen. Examples of wtf moments in past two episodes:

- it takes is a new Knightmare Frame modification and Knights of Rounds are rendered laughably useless. I guess superior KMFs are superior to superior ability any day of the week.

• how badly several nations missed out on intelligence of an insanely large attack force being moved to a supposedly neutral area.
• A blind girl in a wheelchair and her ninja maid do the impossible and evade something akin to a nuke
• how two apparent enemies to the death so quickly become allies

I agree. The only possible alternative to keeping her alive is for her to create something superior to FLEIA, which I find to be idiotic. But then again, lately not much in this makes much sense anymore.

I'm interested to see what Lelouch is going to do in the next couple of episodes, since aside from world domination, I have no clue as to what his goals are seeing as his previous ones were apparently crushed or accomplished.

@Gan&Doc: It's not just you two. It had a slim chance of redeeming itself after 18+19 (which were probably the two highest quality episodes of the season), but it's pretty bad at this point. At least Lelouch uses military strength to force "democracy" throws back to the "Britannia = Imperialist USA" parallel that the first season explored.

Episode summaries for 23-25 are out. There are a lot of variations that basically say the same thing, so I'm just going to analyze the points. Props to Koshimizu for translating stuff off 2chan.

23:
-Nunnally wants to "bear the sin herself" so she volunteers to use FLEIA.
-Suzaku does something to break Lelouch out of his despair.
-Lelouch decides to face Nunnally.
24:
-Lelouch vs. Nunnally, Suzaku vs. Kallen. Sorry Kallen fans, but she's not on Lelouch's side. Gino ending or bust for her.
-Lelouch battles Damocles, which is stockpiled with tons of FLEIA.
25:
-We say "farewell" to Lelouch and Suzaku (doesn't actually mean that they die, just FYI.)
-The Zero Requiem is for the sake of Lelouch and Suzaku's promise.
-The last point is interesting, because I thought the childhood promise they mention for like 3 seconds in season 1 would fall through the massive plotholes Taniguchi built, but I guess not.
-CC is not mentioned at all, which means that something happens to her that they don't feel comfortable releasing (the other 3 main characters all get mentions).

Very skeptical about the ending.

Dumping in some quotes we haven't heard yet. Unconfirmed, but I'm omitting quite a few that already happened. Confirmed in Animedia, which means that they shouldn't necessarily be taken literally (they've made up stuff before).

Lelouch: "I'll spill even more blood now!" (possibly from his line about Euphy).
Kallen: "Farewell, Lelouch... Suzaku, brace yourself!"
CC: "I'll stay with you a little while longer, Lelouch."
Suzaku: "I have to realize Lelouch's promise"
Milly: "It might be my duty to watch after Lelouch until the end"
Schneizel: "If that is the case, I will become God. Let us bring forth the Sword of Damocles!" (The Sword of Damocles is probably a throwback to the Greek fable, not some weapon.)

Just one prediction of mine cause i'm bored =p

1.- Anya turns sides and helps Lulu.
Based on:

• Ep22. 11:03. Anya is shown playing with her PSP-diary :p And when Lulu says 'Nippon' she looks at the TV.
  11:51: Cornelia asks Schneizel if something happened. He answers that someone that didn't agree with him escaped. Anya is never shown anymore.
  22:31: Nunnaly's "I'm your enemy" scene shows only Her, Cornelia, Kanon and Diethart, no Anya is with them.

Conclusion: Anya is the one who didn't agree and escaped?, maybe, i'd like to bet on that she liked shotta-Lulu back when she was in his home and wants to help him?, in addition to somehow dislike Schneizel?.

2.- In ep. 25 CC will give her code to Lulu. After that, Lulu faces Schneizel on foot (meaning not in a Knightmare), Schneizel shoots Lulu, lulu pretends to be dead, and when Schneizel shows his back, Lulu laughts saying 'Hahaha naive'. or something like that.

It's possible (and the outcome I would like the most), but there are more probable candidates.

Until Orange hits Anya with his canceler, she has no way of remembering who Lelouch actually is. Charles' geass is still in effect for both her and Nunnally (since she's still blind).

My bet would be either Sayoko (since the preview shows her injured), or Gino (since in the preview he's talking with Kallen and someone has not only repaired, but upgraded his KMF into the Tristain Twin. Since it wasn't Lelouch or the Black Knights, it has to have been Schneizel and his research facility). I'd prefer Anya though [/fanboy].

Well, she still has her diary, and some time she told Suzaku how her memories didn't agree with her diary, and since seems like every one in Schneizel side know about the geass stuff, she 'might' suppose she has been geassed. Maybe in her diary she wrote about Lulu, since she has a pic of him being shota.

But now you mention it, it's tons more likely to be Sayoko =/
