Well i wouldn't call it a Death Note part 2 afterall he had a much more dignified and much more of an open ending. Gotta give it to the authors for pulling it off perfectly between a total cliffhanger and a boring happy ending.

Get your facts straight...

And as a whole, the Second Season had its moments,
but in the end it failed to meet my expectations.

... Such a shame.

-The source of Lloyd and Lhakshata's feud.

and a few more. Some of those (especially the Lloyd and Rhakshata one) can probably be answered in the sound or picture episodes.

Now I'm really off! (I hope.)

Well, since she keeps calling him "Pudding Hakushaku" wouldn't it be funny if their rivalry was that Lloyd stole her share of pudding or something? 🤣

Xingke isn't in the epilogue...maybe he finnally died of his illness. Man the illness was so pointless...

The Shen Hu was there when Nunnaly and Ougi shook hands...

exaggerated? yes, but the general idea is correct. I might be wrong about the book, but they are sheep with or without it makes no difference.

With or without what? You're making yourself out to
be a sheep yourself with your prejudiced thinking
which would make it easier to manipulate you...

Please, don't be close-minded.

Also, on-topic, I'm going to watch the last episode now.
I've been delaying it for a while. 🤣 I've heard everything anyways.

lol if you think that's bad i actually seen someone in another forum saying that 90% of them are terrorists. 🙄 but it's like Chris Rock pointed out in his comedy special, you should never be surprised at racism. it's going to pop up somewhere...... unfortunately.
on-topic how was your impression of the last episode now that you've checked it out? did you get that poetic feel from it?

Not really. I already knew what was going to happen, plus I watched it on a streaming site which is LQ, and I usually like to see my anime in HQ to heighten the watching pleasure, but the way CG was going I didn't think it was worth it anymore to waste MB's for it. 😮

I liked his supposed death scene though.
The scene is so well-played out, that people don't
want to nullify it by acknowledging that he somehow survived.

... Like you. 😛 But everyone has their own opinion~!

This is going back a few pages talking about the Lelouch immortality theory. From what everyone has stated most likely makes more or less sense. First all ya Charles may have passed/given his code when Lelouch sorta killed him(choking him theory). Also as one stated the evolving of his Geass like maybe his Right eye was actually the code, though not sure, but when he made his wish to God lol did the Geass insignia in the sky/moon whatever that was and then it appeared in Lelouch's right eye so that's a possibility of him being given a code or so. Also Lelouch was interested in the future so possibility of him being given the code for that purpose so many diff reasons/possibilities of how he is now immortal. Also I will say ya the whole memory thing with Nunnally is kinda a give away as well as C.C's talk on the wagon. Also from what one person said the driver is skinny like LeLouch lol. As well with the whole making C.C smile and granting her wish to be loved which seeing as she is probably still immortal he is the only one who could love her. Also quoting a line from s1 I think it was the last ep, "If Your a Witch, then I am a Warlock" - Lelouch

Anyways people can be free to think what they want. I choose to believe that he is immortal along with C.C. As none of my friends of seen this yet I can only rant my theories on this forum cry

Lastly I do agree that some of the stuff wasn't explained properly or if at all. Most apparent was the Nunnally and Sayoko surviving FLIEA and even Cornelia's night surviving(forgot his name). They probably could have had a couple filler eps one for the Ogi and Villeta falling off the cliff(never really explained, oh they got saved and she was captured odd and rushed). Also fan favorite lol would be Lloyd and Rakshata's feud. They could have probably made R2 longer than 25 eps was hoping but standard most animes don't go past 50eps unless they are based on a manga sigh

Well Overall I don't know about most but I thoroughly enjoyed this series, counting it as one whole it is definitely one of my favorite series of all time among Neon Genesis Evangelion. Btw looking forward to the Blu-ray releases of seasons 1 and 2 and the picture books to follow

Well, I finaly finished watching the last few episodes, and I just had to post somewhere but did not want to start a new thread so here's my thoughts.

Overall, they managed to scrape up a sort of okay-ish ending considering R2 was just so horribly bad to begin with. Like most people said Lelouch just had to die... well because he was pretty much a megalomanical mass murderer. Sure, he had his (confusing at times) reasons but he still massacred (literally) tons of fictional cannon fodder characters.
I wouldn't have noticed the (very small) possibility that he became immortal if it wasn't already mentioned by some ppl here, but hey with writers like the ones on R2 anything is possible. I bet that even they had no f-ing idea what they were writing for half of the second season.

Well at least die-hard Geass fans have something to look forward to if Lelouch is still alive.
Maybe next time around there will actually be a REAL f-ing villain in the story, instead of 3 pompous douches with 3 different ideas on how to force their views on the whole world so that there can be peace...

What happened to the notion of villains being evil, wanting to take over the world for themselves, or simply insane? ...I would almost prefer to watch gundam seed destiny over geass R2...

Edit: I almost forgot. WHY? Oh, why are you still alive Suzaku !?!? Please just die. Somebody needs draw up a doujin where Suzaku is killed in a variety of ways. Sure it wouldn't be "canon" but I really need to see it anyway.

Shouldn't this thread be locked by now?
There's nothing to predict anymore, any further discussion should be done in the "Fate of Lelouch" thread IMO :\
