thats why i thought it was going to be a double episodewell thats how i was thinking to when he took tainzi hostage but we know luluch isnt an idiot, he wouldnt make that big of a mistake also VV commented on how if luluch succeded it would be bad for them we can assume that he has a trick up his sleave well. and what i was trying to say was Xing's coup would've lead to even more unrest to a point a civil war would've happened. a civil war that xing would've lost. luluch, as how i see it, is actaully saving xing and tainzi.
so that what they were doing to orange i thought they were somehow artifically creating geass because his eyes kept flickering.
The key is that it was a coup d'etat, rather than a civil war. Xing-ke had already pretty much won, outside of a war with Britannia anyway. His military factions took over the senate building or whatever building it is that the Eunuchs congregate in, and were already parading through the streets. He did choose Tianzi over a peaceful nation though, so it's hard to say if there would have been enough civil unrest to warrant a civil war, however, Tianzi would inherently be on his side, and since she's essentially a Goddess, I doubt he would have had many difficulties quelling the people. Zero, however, is a masked terrorist to the entire world but Japan. In addition, angering Xinge-ke makes it impossible for them to work together, which pretty much eliminates any potential for his future in China.
VV's comment wasn't about him succeeding in China, but about him reaching the Sword of Akasha, whatever it really is. You have to remember that the Emperor pretty much lets Schnizel fight his wars and maintain his Empire at this point- he has his own agenda to complete, which involves killing a God in some way, shape, or form.

first id like you to explain where how the sword of akasha is involved in this.
and to be honest when he had the gun up to tainzi's head this was exactly what i was thinking " WTF, what the hell is he doing does he want to make enemies with xing and have a three way war." but i like supporting crazy theories (as you probebly noticed, but the rollo being nunnally cut it close to the line even for me). As for angering xing well i think he's planning to tell him why he did what he did and how it benifited them all after they get into a safer location this im sure of. anyways i really cant think of why else luluch would even dare try to pull off what he did.
you know i find it funny luluch and susaku meet up again in this ep.
i wonder when nunally, tainzi and kummeragi(i know i butchered her name) will meet up.

I still think Lelouchs kidnapping of the the empress infront of everyone, was a little bit daring move, I mean if he though kidnapping her and then just place a Geass spell on her and get her under his command would solve everything then he is more of a idiot then I thought.
I also getting pretty confused with Code Geass of course deep down Lelouch is a really nice guy and would do anything to protect his loved ones and friends, but Code Geass is making one thing confusing and that is, who is the bad guy and who is the good guy 😕 😕 😕
I mean Suzaku well he is a good guy at heart but he is naive and the death of Euphie drove himway from his original goal and now he is only planning on killing Zero.
Also Lelouch is also a really sweet guy I mean people may not have known this, but Lelouch suffered the most due too his mother death and Nunnally was physically damaged by it due to her blindness and disability too walk, but Lelouch wasent given the change to get over it, he was forced to make it his goal in the past to make Nunnally happy and somehow forget what happent.
But whats even more sad, Lelouch wasent given a chance to grief or cry, he was cast away by his father when he stood up to him, and the only thing his father had to do, to ease Lelouchs pain was to see go and see Nunnaly during the time of the incident, but he didint and said he didint want any weak people near him or something like that.
Also Iv bin thinking, the emperor made a contract to help V.V kill the gods, but there is something else bothering me and thats Lelouchs contract, I dont think his contract is to kill the gods, but to save them from V.V I think.
Also it seems C.C was watching over Lelouch from when his mother died and it makes it easy to see that, his mother is contacting C.C from time to time, which raises the question is Lelouchs mother alive? I mean is there a possibility that Lelouchs mother is like C.C and V.V a immortal? Well we will hopefully find out soon.
Also do you guys suspected there will be third season? I mean how the ending will end is to unpredictable.

They were presumably at the sword's location based on the scenery, hence "here" refers to the sword of akasha. Even if they weren't actually there, it has to be a place of great importance to the Emperor and/or VV, and theoretically the only such place is the sword. I could be wrong, but in either case it's definitely not referring to anywhere in the Chinese Federation. Just to be sure, I double checked the language both with the subs and with my understanding of basic Japanese. He definitely says "if it's here then that's a problem" or something along those lines, depending on the translator and editor.
Edit: @Wargumm1i: Part of the greatness of Code Geass (and honestly most mature shows in general) is that it walks the moral gray, rather than giving a defined good and bad side. I'm inclined to say that regardless of his motivations Lelouch is the "good guy" since he's attempting to eliminate imperialism and create some semblance of equality as a byproduct of his revenge, but obviously there are pros and cons to every viewpoint. Geass actually has a lot of moral commentary on various issues, but like anything else it's ultimately up to the viewer to decide what's right and wrong shrug.
Marienne is really dead, the director confirmed that a while ago. However, it has been implied several times that CC can speak with the dead, as well as the Emperor or VV (I can't remember which it was that talked to Clovis).

Crenshin: that makes sense
War: i think your being to fixaited on which is the good side, no offense, i mean on of the good points of the show is that is that it acurately shows that thier is no real good side in war unlike other anime in which the good and the bad are clean cut and dry. but i find that this show somehow uses the "oh hes actaully a good person deep down" cliche alot but you dont notice it to much.
as for his mother being a witch, well its unlikely and no real evidence to it, i know im a hypocrite for saying that, but this is out their and the main reason why luluch wants to overthrow britannia would be gone.
as for a season 3 i hope there is; this show is to good to end.
Cren: 0.0 😲 😲 wow speaking to the dead.
anyways does anyone if maraine had a geass i wouldnt be suprised if she did

I vaguely remember reading somewhere that in the DS game you can hear both sides of the conversions that C.C. had with Marianne. Knowing Marianne's side could be interesting and maybe there is something in there that reveals the kind of relationship her and C.C have.
Also I think there is a possibility of Suzaku joining Lelouch as well. I don't think it's a completely far off idea for the same reasons that were already said.
Gah, another week. I wish there really was a double episode.
Code Geass why must you tease me? 😢

Yeah, it was the Emperor in Ep. 06 of Season 01.
That's probably also how the Emperor found out early on that Zero was Lelouch.

After episode 10 raw O_O. Fight episode.
This episode was decent. Lots of strategy, mechs, and cheese-kun.
The three most important points (to me at least):
-Anya has a picture of Lelouch from when he was a kid. This thrills me because I love Anya, and she keeps becoming more important and interesting.
-Xing-ke fails to retrieve Tianzi on his own, so he gets backstabbed.-_-;;.
-Kallen is captured.Predictions:
-First off, I'm going out on a limb and saying that Anya idolizes Marienne, and will eventually join the black knights. Considering she has a picture of Lelouch and the same hairstyle as Marienne when she was younger, I would guess that she was picked up some time early in life by her. Her defecting is actually supported by the name of her mech alone (Mordred) who if memory serves, is King Arthur's illegitimate son who eventually wounds him fatally (or something like that). If that actually ends up being symbolism, I would be very pleased.EDIT: After further looking into Arthurian legend, I've come to the conclusion that Anya may be Lelouch's half-sister (maternal side, obviously, since she lacks violet eyes.) Mordred is the half brother of Gawain, and if you look at the mechs, plus her general Marienne-esque appearence, and her picture of Lelouch as a child, it completes the symbolism more thoroughly. In that case, CC probably represents Morgan Le Fay, but I may be getting ahead of myself. In any case, I'm hoping the betrayal the director referred to towards the beginning of the series is Anya betraying Britannia, which unfortunately would probably result in her death.
-Xing-ke is saved by the Black Knights and eventually rescues Tianzi on his own. I don't think they'll have a stable relationship either way, but there's a slim chance Zero may actually come out on top in this one, perhaps at the cost of losing Kallen to the empire.
-The identity of the fake Lelouch has been floating around for a while, but I think anyone who doesn't know can figure it out with a bit of thought.
-Based on the preview, Orange-kun returns to battle! For the record, I support both LelouchxCC and LelouchxAnya, but not Kallen.
Edit: Elaborated on Anya theory after research..
Oh, and I sort of want this too bad I don't live in Japan yet. I guess I couldn't have entered the contest anyway.

If I remember correctly. When Rakhshata and Zero first met, they were saying that Rakhshata was experimenting on using Nano technology for medical use. You don't suppose it was some sort of foreshadowing for Xing-Ke...
Random Prediction: Somewhere throughout this season (presumably the end) Lelouch will say C.C.'s real name with care in his voice. xD I just know it~

Doesn't it seem like Lelouch is having a very hard time winning significant victories over his enemies? Not just Suzaku anymore but other ppl too give him a hard time.
I just hope he gets his shiz together and makes some real progress (not just floating away with a million Zero's on an iceberg thing...)
He really needs to learn how to pilot a Knightmare Frame.

Did someone ask for a Lelouch mech?
TURN 11 raw report/updated predictions.
Anya...has some sort of geass related power or past? Instant victory :D.
Lelouch indirectly states that he's in love with Nunnally -_-;;. Either that or he's just really, really dense. Probably both.
The Shinkiro (I forgot the exact spelling, it means "mirage" though, right?) is pretty awesome. Keyboard-controlled mechs seem to have a disadvantage though, or maybe that's canceled because Lelouch is the pilot.
Lots of great Anya action. Looks like we'll be seeing more of Orange-kun as well. Oh, and Kallen is officially captured by Suzaku.
Lots of CC fanservice. It looks like she's left in charge of China as well.
It implies that Sayoko (in Lulu disguise) kisses Shirley to stop her from finding the hideout. God, I hate Shirley arcs. Mao was really cool, but I just can't stand Shirley for some reason. Anyway, the next episode is probably a bust, since it's another Ashford episode. Hopefully the last one we get though. Anya's in it, so maybe we'll get some focus and her any make the episode good.
Other predictons:
-I'm sticking with my "Anya betrays the empire, killing either the Emperor or Schnizel but is killed in the process" prediction. Oh, and her being Lelouch's half-sister.
-Kallen finds out something plot-relevant about Marianne or VV while captured. Her memory is not erased by the Emperor.
-Orange-kun won't do anything until episode 13 or 14.

Well since this is a spoiler topic I'll just post a blog I just found on animesuki containing short previews of episode 10-13 as well as other information like the other princesses of Brittania and a pic of Marianne and Charles when they were young

P.S.
-I had a feeling it was Sayoko
-NOOOO! Kallen is a POW

The ending of epi 11 was LAME... I mean i liked how lelouch got his own knightmare but it was totally a deus ex machina. And it seems that all the main characters are getting new knightmares now. I wouldn't be surprised if in the next few epis we see Nina's new kamikaze nuclear knightmare, or maybe Pres Milly got her own "voluptuous" knightmare made for her as a gift from Lloyd. and obviously Britannia is gonna come up with some guren knock off after they reverse engineer the captured guren (probably give it to Karen too after she contracts stockholm syndrome). Have you noticed that Lelouch is coming up with less brilliant plans and relies more on the new uber mechs that he seems to get?

Yeah, but they said from the start that this season would be more action than Lelouch doing crazy scheming. Apparently, he only needed to when he had a weak terrorist organization -_-;;. I still think Gawain was more ridiculously overpowered than anything else we've seen so far, and it lost (well, tied with) to a spikeball.
I'm sure you're right about the Guren. I would be shocked if they didn't at least remodel it, if not have the Emperor geass Kallen and then have her pilot it.
I suppose Orange-kun might have a new mech, but I don't think he needs one. Then again, I didn't think CC needed one either. Or Li, for that matter.
