And I believe e-sports was added in just because it has "sports" in it >_>
Yeah to me a sport should be something physically demanding. I could understand it being an e-sport if it was laser tag but video games I don't accept as being a sport. Just because something is competitive doesn't mean it should be called a sport.

I don't know about you...but training up for an e-sports tourney can be quite physically demanding. Especially when big money is on the line.
Too bad there's no option for imaginary sports. I love it when authors make up original sports or add a twist to traditional sports like air gear (only the first few arcs, not the superpower battle shounen shit that goes on later).

almost 30 options yet you left out the "none - i hate ssports" option 😔
That's really bad for health :S, i can't believe anybody would actually hate all sports.
I hate playing all sports, although i was briefly on my high school tennis team, but i sucked since i had never played before. and the only sport i can stand to watch is mma. the others are just too boring fro me.
anyways, for the poll i struggled choosing between archery and kendo, but in the end chose kendo. i've read some really good manga with those sports, that actually managed to make me care about the sports.

Lambchopsil said he added it for the lawls... and this is going to be one of the very few times I every use that terminology.

Yeah I can understand there is a lot of time and effort that goes into it and I respect that but if we start considering that as something that signifies a sport then we'll start having competitive lawyering, or accounting as sports. 🤣

I don't see why not.
I wouldn't be surprised if there are law or accounting offices that have some sort of an in-house competition between colleagues. You can still call it a sport. The only difference is that it wouldn't be as widespread and nor would it be very spectatable.
In all accounts, esports is everything every other sport is aside from the "physical" aspect.

There are only three sports; bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering.
....all the rest are merely games.

Blitz ball ftw....(or the military laser tag in enders game)
On a side note. Atm golf is officially the most ignored sport.... even below cycling x.x
Nvr mind I overlooked racquetball... possibly from my mind attempting to shield me from the aweful reality of such a "sports" existence x.x
Few favs

Hm.. Thinking about it I believe any sport could make a good anime/manga as any sport can make a good story/movie/comic/etc and anime and manga is just another medium to tell a story. Obviously the way one tells a story would have to differ depending on the medium, but all the same I still believe a story is most important..
Although I guess if I was forced to chose I'd probably pick Martial Arts because that seems the easiest and most done so the hardest to mess up. (Not that people haven't done so...)
Earn Gift Cards for Wii, PSN, XBL, LoL, and more.
My lists are a mess, and most aren't public, and the public ones are still being updated.

I'd love to see some a tennis sports manga that would be interesting, so I chose that.
I do like martial arts and kendo sports manga though. Actually Archery would be interesting as well.

hmm, I think outside of cricket, racketball, and shooting, all the other sports have been featured in manga.
