Was it me or anyone else was expecting some plot development or some serious fight.....I guess our expectations failed one more time......
I was hoping that Kubo will skip the talking part between Ichigo and Soul society Or make it coverd up in one page.....
But it took 18 pages just to convey SOS ......I do hope that the quincy is dead.

my theory for why ichigo's bankai can't be stolen: he isn't pure shinigami like the others, and his powers are part hollowish. the quincies are used to fighting soul reapers and hollows seperately, ichigo is a hollow/human/soul reaper hybrid. because their techniques are so specific, they won't affect him. also, since the enemy seems to be shocked by ichigo's abilities, does this mean that uryuu told them nothing?

Why would uryuu say anything to them? He doesnt or didnt even know they existed, his father might have though.

I agree partially with your theory. I think the fact that he's a hybrid of sorts might not be the case. The true cause might lie in the fact that he sort of fused with Zangetsu to defeat Aizen. The other Captains haven't gone so far with their own Zanpaktou.

I at least am happy that Ichigo seems to be winning (early on which doesn't happen often) and has most likely killed his enemy so that the plot will move on and we will learn more and be drawn to the series again 😀

Have you ever read bleach.... any time he is winning the enemy transforms or something and either drags the firght on forever while telling his sob story, or beats him and then ichigo has to go train and make cliche self discoveries with flashy explosions
Or the enemy turns out to be the equivalent of raditz/krillin in dbz

or perhaps they can't steal ichigo's bankai because he's accepted it and it's like, a part of him and he's a part of zangetsu? i mean, i don't know how close the captains are to their bankais..... i dunno. maybe i'm completely off the bat here 😛

they can't steal his bankai yet cause he isn't using his bankai in 100% yet. Didn't the Aizen arc says that his full bankai its to be merged with tensa zangetsu which he becomes zangetsu itself. all the captains are already in their full bankai's, hence they can't teal ichigo's plus he has his hollow power as well which i might assume will be used as a secret weapon against the enemy this time round.

Perfect story arc for our Kenpachi!
And about the fight, Ichigo will win with ease. And the reason for them not capable of taking his bankai I think has something to do with his fullbringer powers. He isn't a "shinigami" per se anymore.

I have read Bleach and I can hope, right. This is supposedly the last arc and he (I think) can't get his Bankai stolen b/c he is not a shinigami, so is at an advantage. So why I can't I think the enemy is dead first try for once.

hmm well thinking back, one of the quincy's did try to steal ichigo's bankai, got some of it, then ichigo was all like, oh no you don't! and stopped it. so i think it's a particular ability mental or not, that ichi has

kind of expecting ichigo to get quincy powers at some point during this arc I mean he already has all the other powers y not quincy as well not like it needs to make sense
