Not sure what the air date will be, but Sunrise will do the animation and Tsuneo Kobayashi will do the scripts and Reiko Yoshida will do the character designs. I'm not sure how they'll ever pull this off, but I hope its worth it!

-_-;;. I feel somewhat betrayed by SUNRISE because it's not a mecha... but that's just a personal thing.

Probably won't be bad though, I imagine I'll watch it. The manga is decent, anyway.

yeah just noticed this, apparently it comes out january 9th....but uhh, i dropped the manga didn't fight it that interesting, but mehhh.....1 episode a week, i should be able to watch it

Kuro Kami is actually what I'm currently reading, and I'm loving it so far (though I tend to love most anything Im Dal Young is involved in). I can't wait for the anime version now.

As for the Kuro Kami anime, I was very excited to read this article just a couple days ago.

A simultaneous TV release in Japan and America (and Korea), with an English dub all ready for the American version, that's awesome.

Of course it does kind of suck that they didn't get it on a bigger network. Probably make this less immediate news to people who aren't me.

i've never heard of that channel before.....most dubs usualy sukk newayz so it doesn't matter to me that much but uh,....just saw the 1st episode and it was pretty good, apparently it's diffrent from the manga a bit, but it may be a good thing for me in this case....

I didn't like it... It had some potential, but the way it was handled didn't really appeal well to me.

I also saw this anime wasn't really expecting to see it though it just happened to turn to the channel and recognized the japanese name. I somewhat liked the anime didn't really understand the point in some random girl getting killed off so fast...and the roots getting together. Hoping stuff will get clearer.
