Alright, I admit it, I love Tokyo Akazukin by Tamaoki Benkyou. I guess I'm going to hell now, brb.
What mangas do you like that are downright ridiculous?

Ah, finally, people who share my tastes! I love both Tokyo Akazukin and Ichi the Killer. I like pretty much anything that's gory and disturbing. So yeah, I liked MPD Psycho, too, as well as the psychotic beauty that is Paranoia Star.
I guess Inugami is pretty crazy, too -- I mean, it's about giant talking dogs that recite poetry, and insects that explode out of people's bodies. Hm.
You know what I'd really love to read? A manga version of the animated series Aeon Flux. I mean, you gotta love a story in which the main character dies at the end of every episode.

i had the live action movie of ichi the killer and the prequel ichi.
i wonder where they went
i loved how thier little claim to fame is the use of real semen in the shots that called for it.
i vaugly remember seeing an episode of the aeon flux animation when i was like 6 i don't remember much of it, but the main character seems alot like kenny in early southpark. well a much more athletic version anyway. i didn't care for a the aeon flux movie though.

There's a video store near my house that has Ichi the Killer. Is it any good? What's it rated?

I love Tokyo Akazukin, too! It feel's fresh, like Clive Barker's "Hellraiser" did when it came out. There is a lot of violence, however, the violence is artistically well done and adds gravitas to the manga-----which is detailing the battle between Heaven and Hell or the old gods and the new.

Leviathan was interesting too. I didn't find homunculus the least bit disturbing. But thats maybe because I go to see horror movies in theatres and end up laughing for the duration of the movie.

I just read it all in a short sitting. AMAZING! My first Goro manga ever, and I feel sad because I still wanted so much more out of Tokyo Akazukin. The hunted becomes the hunter, a four amred assassin, a demonic cat-boy comedy relief (who is like Red's play thing. mahwhaha). 😀
I like the manga too, Astarte is cute <3<3
freesia is quite weird one

tamaoki benkyo works other manga, it's called Necromanesque.. I wish they scanlated it >_< it seems simliar to Tokyo Akazukin
Noritaka is disturbing manga ever I've read.. he shitted his pants, very disgusting...
