I'm looking for comics where two characters mutually love each other, but one of them rejects the other because of social backlash (eg. age-gap, different social classes). It would be a relationship that society would reject. There is a lot of yearning and pulling on one side, but the other does not easily relent.

I'd prefer it if it happened to one of the protagonists, and if the problem was stretched over the course of the manga. Realistic relationships are a plus, as well as dark ambiances.

It would also be nice if the two characters got together in the end, but that isn't required.
