the only way to make dragonball a hit is to.. go back to the roots... make it so someone asked shen long to make people weaker or something ... no more i fart and a galaxy its destroyed. Maybe go back to where Gohan was a cute lil kid and picoro's was tha bad(and good) guy 😀 .

Thinking about it I'd have to say it would be better if it was more like Dragon Ball than Dragon Ball Z. I know the Z is only used for the anime but it's the best way to differentiate the two.

I hope it's a story with new characters set in the dragon ball universe. I think that would be awesome for old fans for something new and new fans for an intro into such a great series. Starting off with characters like Goku, Gohan and such would ruin a lot of the nostalgia of the series and to me kinda ruin it.

isnt this some form of ploy from his part to get ppls attention about the Dragonball online game [he have written the story for]
so its most likely going to take place in that time and some of the NPCs from the online game will have a big part

Surprising but awesome. He should have done that 10 years ago though. I hope that his new chapters completely ignores the events that happened during GT. His new chapters probably has something to do with the Dragonball Online MMORPG which Akira Toriyama took part of.

oh please no. How does he want to continue that old story? Why doesn´t he write a ew manga? I feels like thos movies were the first part was so popular so they made many other parts to get more money from it but those new pars lack quality

The weird thing is, I could see this normally obviously fake rumor being true. I could see Toriyama being asked to write a, probably short, add-on to DBZ to help promote the upcoming Dragonball Online. A lot of games have webcomics or something similar to help promote the release, and I'm sure DBO won't be an exception.

It's just confusing on how many generations passed after the dbgt went towards a Goku's grandson saga...

If Dragonball SD was all this story was talking about, then the rumors about the "new Dragonball chapters" have been blown WAY out of proportion. I'll have to wait to see what he does with it, but so far SD just seems like a Kai-esque rerelease of the original Dragonball.

am i the only one who thinks the more spinoff they do the the more crap the franshise will seem. it looks they wanna milk it until it loses it's place in history. It doesn't matter who writes it i think it should be put on the shelf with classic's like Akira, GITS and Astroboy; not forgot about but not bloody bloody diluted likeit's being done now. movies and anime doesn't matter, i justdon't want to see a classic being destroyed by what seems like greed.
