Are you big-picture or detail-oriented person?
Big Picture Person
They don't care when the bed is messed or there's a little scratch on the bumper of your car.
They are visionary.
They like to having goal / purpose on what they do. But lack the plan to achieve the goal.
To simplify complicated matter.
They scan and figure it out, they aren't reading the details..
Tend to forget things.. (small things), scatter brain.
Detail Oriented Person
To be detail-oriented means that you pay attention to every little thing. For example, if a 10-page document was missing one comma, you would notice it. A good Proofreader should have this quality.
They worked step for step to achieve their goal.
They notice what others don't notice. Such as A fly in movie scene.
Tend to be perfectionist.
If you are disturbed of false grammar/vocabulary or anything misfit.
They are neat.
Opinionated, vocal.
As for me, I am more a Big Picture person. I see from bigger matter to small matter.
As for example, when i read manga i categorized things, so it's easier for me if someone recalls what they want from the story. But if they ask the details, i don't remember it.
So what are you?
If you can choose, which one do you want to be?

Big picture person because worrying over every little detail is a waste of time for me. x:
I also don't like things being to complicated so I always try to make thing simple @_@
I do seem to make things more complicated for others though o_o;

I'm a Big Picture person.
Though I was so sure I was a detail-oriented person seconds before I clicked this thread o__o since when I'm focussed on something, I can't see the big/whole thing.
But obviously I'm more of a Big Picture person since I really like to simplify complicated things haha. My friends try to think further in questions, as in "Why is it like that?" while I just move on after completing the question. Ahh sweet time, sweet time = w=

Small detail, I'm careful in all I do and I usually catch other peoples' mistakes which is really good for them.

Wow, in your description, you made being a detailed-oriented people sound so unattractive. I was like, well between a laid-back person with goals in life and hopes and dreams and a nit-picking OCD person who "can be a pain in the ass for some others", I think I'll have to go with the first one.
Obviously I exaggerated some, but it was kind of obvious that you considered yourself to be a "big picture" person, as the qualities listed as those of a "big picture" person were much more attractive than those listed for a "detail-oriented" person.
I mean really. Who would describe themselves as being "a pain in the ass for some others"? Just saying.

oops, ;lol; it just when you noticed many people were complaining about your behavior when you do your job (such as, you are too perfectionist! , you make me crazy , etc) that you could be detail oriented person. I mean they tend to be perfectionist for everything they do, so many others find difficult to follow the detail oriented person's standard. Ok, i'll add and edit some.
I am a bit of both. I don't care if my or your room is filled with laundry,
neither if my shirt is wrinkled, but I certaily don't have any goals,
I just live day by day and see what comes. I realise every comma amiss,
if I am capable of doing something in detail when it is not that much harder
than a draft, I will do it in detail.

big picture.. knew it since the day i was born.
oh please do click this!
The sweeter the apple, the higher the branch. The quieter the fart, the nastier the smell.
GUESS WHO??
Big picture.
I was reading the description and was nodding along to practically everything.
"They like to having goal / purpose on what they do. But lack the plan to achieve the goal" - This is bang on accurate 🤣

I practically tick all the big picture points...but what happens if I tick some of the detailed ones?
Edit: changed my mind. I am a big picture person.
This is probably what I'm closer to.

I believe in letting people do as they wish, as do I myself. Sometimes, of course, what I wish to do is kill them and they do not wish to die. This gives life interest.

I'm obsessed with the little details and overall balance and symmetry of things, to an almost unhealthy extent. I love observing and noticing things people would not usually see, especially in films. I'm quick to take note of people acting or behaving a little more different than usual as well. 😎
