lately i've been downloading LOTS AND LOTS of manga and now when i look at my computer i feel so overwhelmed. i feel like it's WORK. i don't know where to start! i can barely keep up with releases, let alone reading them all.
I'm just curious if anyone has a similar problem, like u spend more time downloading then reading them... 🙄

I only DL one series per time and read them as I DL them.
When one has been read, another one or two await.

Hmmm not quite that, but though I still dl a couple hundred or so different manga titles, I tend to not read them until they're complete or I have at least a couple volumes to read at once.

I'll often go for a week or two without dling or reading much, then spend an evening dling and reading the series that have finished plus any one-shots. 😃

This...though I avoid most manga that have less than 3 volumes

Licensing isn't really a big problem since there alot of places that keep the scanlations even after the titles been lisenced (aka Lurk). I used to keep a huge manga library too but one day I just deleted most of it to free up space on my hard drive. Now if I wanna reread something I just download it again- not a big deal.

I get the vast majority of my scanlated manga from #lurk, so licensing isn't really an issue (though if I like it well enough to be unhappy that I can't read it anymore when scanlations stop due to licensing, I generally buy the licensed volumes anyway...).

I do read enough that running out of space isn't (often) a problem; I'm more likely to run out of space from dling dorama faster than I can watch it. 🤣

Had the same problem a few months ago... I guess because I had never read a manga I had a little too much to pick and read, but after 3 months and not much sleep I managed to catch up with a lot of series and managed to finish quite a few of them.

My friends started to call me the Manga Hollow, because I was never full

Just pick a few short ones and finish them at your own pace, after that you will be sure of your own speed and download in a more rational way 🙂

I don't even download manga anymore. I just read it online.

But when I did, I never really had a problem with too much. 😐

Similar for me, but I save the good ones (and buy the printed volumes if I really like em)

Starting to use the online reading sites more often also.

Yeh, I usually read online, though lately I've been DLing more and more. If it was me I'd DL a whole bunch so I wouldn't have to worry about it if my internet died etcetc. There's no such thing as too much manga O_O
