I wear briefs, never had the problem of feeling they were too tight.

Also since I dont really have any comfort issues, I dont see a reason to switch to boxers, since I dont go around showing off my underwear to people. But I suppose I would wear boxers for aesthetic purposes if I ever felt like walking around without shorts on.

Got a mix of boxers and boxer-briefs.

The first time I tried boxer-briefs was because they were a little more affordable than boxers. Must say I was pleasantly surprised and whole-heartedly endorse them.

As for the folks who complain that boxers feel like you're not wearing anything or the people who think boxers make it more difficult to conceal natural bodily reactions... it's not as bad as you think. Once you get used to it all of those awkward feelings disappear. When I first switched from briefs to boxers, I felt uncomfortable with my newfound freedom. Than after a week or so, everything was fine.

As for man-thongs...that's just not right. They look silly, and there are certain things that I'd rather not see. It's as bad as checking out Man-Faye.

I used to wear briefs, but that was before I joined the service, and it too embarasing to have to shower with a bunch of dudes and then slip into some whity tities. Plus the shorts they give you in boot are really easy to wear, and double quite well as boxors....
