I was looking for a manga focusing on an individual thief or a band of thieves.
Somehow I just felt like reading something like that.
I would like it to be a bit serious in tone, so Mouse is out.
I really want it to focus on the stealing and the process of how it is done, so maybe having a slight mystery or suspense edge would be nice.
I guess Kurosagi fits to a point, but I'm not looking for swindling.
And don't bother with mentioning Yaoi or shounen-ai or the like.

on a related note, I am also looking for a live action series or movie.
I saw this preview for what I think was a series, but it could have been a movie. It's either British or American.
It was about this group of thieves that I believe somehow ended up stealing for the government, but I could be mistaken here.
I remember the leader being an ex-cop and there was this black guy that was the hacker.
I am certain that before the series/movie (i'm pretty sure it's a series though) they were all individual thieves and somehow ended up working together.
It seemed interesting enough but I can't remember the title for the life of me. So if someone has an idea, please share.
