Meaning is it a happy ending, not open ending, rushed/axed ending?

This manga still on going so you wont get any answer.
I have been reading this series for more than 12 years waiting for happy ending between Maya and Masumi. Hope it will end soon, it's been ongoing series for 30 years.

lol, I thought this was something about the series ending! but yeah, it's been ongoing (on and off) since 1976, and I would suspect a good ending between Maya and Masumi...if we ever get there!

Well according to wikipedia, it announce that the mangaka was going to end it soon. i just hope it is not a rushed ending though.
