I can't read a shounen manga without girls because it's sound boring 😲 . When I start a new shounen manga, I always need a large pack of girls (Not a big fan of yuri, sorry^^) and huge loads of romance and action. The only shounen title with no enough female department that I read was Hunter X Hunter.

Depends on the art and the story line along with character development and such 😳

Nope. You can call me lascivious but I seriously need the eye candy. Most action manga I've read seem to be pretty formulaic and a pretty girl can help keep me interested in the manga long enough to get to the actual plot.

If the plot is good and the art isn't eye cancer, why does it matter if it had no girls or even humans (ie Gon)? Shamo had no major female lead and was a great read nonetheless.

Most females in shounen manga tend to be annoying.
There are a few that don't get on my nerves, but for the most part, they're only there for boobs and panty shots.

So it depends, I don't mind not having girls if the author is just gonna plan on giving them no personality and gigantic boobies.
If the girls are anything like Winry Rockbell from FMA, I don't mind 🙂

Yeah, Winry was an interesting and charming character with real personality, i hate the "perfect" girl that does everything perfectly and is super charming, the tsundere, tomboyish and "gorgeous" girl who is not interested in guys but actually is in love with the male lead, the "super sexy" fan service character, the emotion less character that end up warming up to the male lead, the silly innocent girl with no bad traits except been a klutz, ect...

all annoying, among others Vinland saga and Cromartie High school (mentioned before) are both amazing manga with no mayor female characters.

I haven't come across one but if the characters and story are interesting I'm sure I would enjoy it. I am trying to imagine a story like that right now.....it works.
