A comedy/gag manga.
An exorcist is cursed to die if he does SOMETHING more than a set number of times. Walk steps? Heart beats? Drink kiwi smoothies? I don't know.
He may or may not have a helper who was bound to the restroom in the exorcism office. Was the helper a ghost?

Plunderer has the count down thing but it's also a recurring trope in supernatural manga after doing x things certain times a curse comes into effect. Asians also like to attach numbers and percentages to things so it's a quite common trope.
Jibaku Shounen Hanako-Kun has the toilet bound thing, but I think Hanako is an urban legend to do with toilets. Japanese have a lot of creepypastas urban legends...
Those are both comedy and probably not what you're looking for, but with the tags of comedy and curses those elements are rather common.

Yeah, I know both of those. But I'm pretty sure it's one manga and both of those titles aren't it 🙁
To add some more detail:
- They had an office. The assistant was bound to the restroom OR storeroom OR some room there.
- The main exorcist/detective guy was looking for a way to undo his curse.
