I don't have a strong preference towards a particular eye color, although I do get bored of seeing particular aesthetics and combinations repeated frequently.

I read a lot of rofan manhwa, so blonde hair and blue, red, or green eyes are pretty played out for me, and the same goes for pink hair with those eye colors. White or black hair with gold or green eyes are fairly common too, and purple eyes aren't uncommon either.

Honestly though I care much more about ML eye and hair color than FL eye and hair color since the vast majority of MLs look extremely samey, while FLs at least have some variety. As long as the FL is interesting as a character (and not just in the stereotypical ML "What an interesting woman..." way), I don't really mind too much what her eye color is.

Really in either case I have stronger feelings about hair color and style since that's one of the most distinctive features in this fairly simplistic art style.

Don't really care except not white.

was sad and dejected that "gold" wasn't an option.

I tried to care, but didn't. Different eye colors for different types of protagonist is my preference.

I'm a jack of all trades but master of none. Too many jars and not enough hands.

I don't even notice it, unless there is heterochromia involved, even then eye being different color is important to me, not the actual colors

Honestly, I couldn't care less about the colouration of a protagonist (that doesn't make the character, you know). I just wish that my favourite colour, purple/violet, stopped being used as a symbol of villainy (stylized black doesn't count).
