When you are still in school, university or other stations of education, you always have short- or middle-term aims, like the next exam, the ending of the school year and so on. Back then I thought that once I enter my working life, time will go by much slower for me, because every day will be like the other.
Quite the contrary! For whatever reason, the time seems to run faster and faster now. Especially on thursdays I often think: "When I return from work tomorrow, the weekend will begin. Didn't the week just start!?"
In less than 3 weeks I will be 24 years old. Oh my god, my time is running out!

In what direction did your sense of time change?

Some years in school just flew by, but
some felt like an eternity...
I was 17 when I realised how fast 10 years
went and when I though that there is about
70 years of real living, I started to feel old.

0-19 was pretty fast... but now I feel stuck O_O I even forget my age sometimes 🤣

From about 1 - 14, everything went by very slowly, and then, at like high school, it sped up INCREDIBLY. I remember thinking "Since when was Christmas break so short." But now that I spend everyday being lazy and then going to work, everything is so fast. Like things that happened months ago seem like they only happened yesterday.

For a long time when I was 17, I thought I was still like 16. It didn't help that everyone in my family was like "Oh yeaaah, you are 16." 🤣 People suck. 😐

Once I started working (18), the years passed by too quickly. Monotony has a way of sucking the life out of you, making you oblivious to anything worth doing.

i know it really sucks. Beyond college there is just nothing else to look forward to.
