Storm in Heaven is looking for some quality checkers! We have 25 chapters in QC, and just me to QC them. And I'd rather be translating something 😀
No experience necessary, but you need to have a good eye for what looks good. Quality checkers must know their way around photoshop and be able to go through edited files (psds) and check for excess dirt, typos/grammar mistakes, make sure text is centered, and touch up clones/redraws as needed. (No knowledge of Japanese is necessary.)
Photoshop is required, since you'll be working with psd files (Photoshop Elements might actually have everything you need, as well). A very detailed QC guide and test can be found in the recruitment section of our site.
Most of our edits actually require very little work 🙂 For anyone interested, please email me at kalendel@gmail.com. If you're experienced and want to skip the test, I can give you an abbreviated test (ie, part of an actual chapter needing QC now). Thanks for reading!
