Hi there,

Just wondering how you guys would define manga, anime and cosplay FANS in one or two words?

Also, how would you define anime/manga?

I know these are both (especially the last one) commonly asked questions but I would really like to see what the generally accepted terms and definitions for these things are, not just my own opinion. Cheers. 🙂

Otaku? (More for extreme fans, but can't think of anything else)

Anime/manga: Japanese cartoons/comics

@Syphillis: Problem with that is that Otaku often means obsessive geek and can refer to any interest, and manga/anime/etc is not just made in Japan.

Well yes, as is the case with every minority group but I don't think that doesn't mean we can't define it.

manga = pop culture industrialized,
anime = so uncreative due to tight budget,
cosplayer = over-publication of self interest,
also, cosplayer = severe lack on sense of identity
😀
