Ok, having read the current chapter and seen that things have been going WAAAAY to fast, my guess that the manga was having a Rushed Ending/Axed was true after all, i have a report yesterday saying that magico is going to end in 5 more chapters, i did not confirm this but based on the fact of how things are now im 80% sure that this is true...
Very sad ineed, why rush the ending?? the autor must have some big issues for this to happen cry

Where did you happen to receive this report?
Also, if it were to end any time soon, that would be normal. Half the series labeled "Rushed/Axed" on these sites are biased opinions, thus, usually to sooth their anger, they label it that.

No manga ever says "I've been axed. Bye." but always says "Thanks for reading, look forward to future works!"

Mangakas normally aim to have their series be continuously serialsed, or at least until they've finished writing what they've wanted to. Magico getting axed wouldn't be surprising, because if you checked the rankings, you'll notice that it's been in the last or 2nd last place for the best several months already. If you notice that the plot is speeding up, the author is either trying to revive it or it's been given the axe notice.

Yeah, the moment that I saw an all out fight with a powerful enemy I knew it was told that it was ending after the last serialization meeting.

I think this series biggest issue is because the main hero is just too strong. While I'm glad the fights don't last long, there's no feeling like he's really being challenged most of the time. A few twists, sure, but he always comes out on top.

But I think this author will be someone who's next work I'll look forward to.

so one more chapter, eh...is Jump Next like a graveyard or something...lately it seems like series get their last chapter in Jump Next. I'm hoping it's more on "page restriction" that WSJ has in order to accommodate all the weekly series.

Ok, since the series is ending... er... spoiler me. Has Emma remembered or been reminded how Shion first met her in the thorns yet? Cause I'm currently in the couples contest thing and the fairy was talking to her about how she met him after he was thrown away, and she didn't go like "huh? I met him before?" or anything so I'm a little confused...
