Hi! I'm looking for a manga I remember reading I'd say about 10 years ago. I keep thinking about it every now and then and it's making me crazy. What I can tell you is that the manga was discontinued and in the last volume, the author wrote the ending they had planned so that the readers wouldn't be left with nothing. Also (entirely personal) I remember thinking the art style could use some work.

For the plot:

• Setting is an underground dungeon that looks like a maze, not fantasy and closer to a Hunger Games arena
• The main character (normal guy, possibly teenager) wakes up in a room with nothing but his clothes, door is locked so he can't get out
• After a while, a voice on a speaker explains that he and others are in a (timed?) survival game, that their goal is to find the exit while staying alive, and that to even the odds they have been given a weapon reverse-proportionally to how dangerous they are
• Obviously the MC either doesn't have any or he has something very much not useful, and he has to lie that his weapon got stolen because people might target him if they think he's the strongest
• The doors then open, 'game' starts, MC finds allies/enemies/love interest/etc., and after a while the speakers announce that this first floor soon will be sealed and that they have to go up to the next one unless they want to die (think poison or flooding)
• Pretty sure they were close to finding the exit within the time limit after that, but that's when the author announced it wouldn't be finished.
