Only God Forgives - usual Refn artsy-fartsy stuff, but entertaining all the same. I'm always a sucker for style-over-substance and hyper violence.

Fortress of War - pretty gruelling war epic; poorly resourced Russians holed in a fortress fending off endless waves of Germans in WWII. A bit generic, but I'm probably just exhausted on war flicks.

Iron man 3. Certainly wasn't as good as the other two, but it wasn't terrible.

in classic chinese fashion not much is explained or elebarated on

bad man looses everything becouse he is a shit
he becomes good guy
everyone dies
the important part here should be...him turning good
but noooo
that part is glanced over...he is now full of compassion and everlasting goodness for no real reason...atleast not one the movie shared with us
he reads some "sacred" texts and train some martial arts so...of course he is full of compassion
him turning good took about 5minutes it felt and not ever a long time
in a couple of days he turns from murdering his closest friends for greed and fear to being this calm collcted buddha and thats just bad
jackie chan was shit...his fight scenes were just bad and i did not even laugh once...thats bad
he just cost the movie money...he did not need to be in it

...overall it was an entertaining movie, but it doesn't even hold a candle to the first movie. The new director made it so cheap.
