Why is this series labelled as tragedy?
I really don't wanna read a series with a bad ending or main character dieing
because if i recall correctly,
one of the twins dies (in an accident?)
If you dont wanna read tragedies, then dont read them O_O

I need a die with 2 sides.
That's known as a "coin".
Oh, thanks. Too much D&D.

Yeah, having read the series a little further than where it's been scanlated, I'm not quite sure why it's a tragedy, unless they talk about the events at the end of the first series, Koukou Tekken-den Tough, but even then...

First of all this series is still running. Secondly tragedy doesn't means someone must die.
I suppose its labeled as tragedy since some typical tragedy elements occur in the series (which I can confirm). As for instance the first story arc handling the matter of the main characters paralyzed dad. (but of course along the plot some people also die or get badly injured, etc.)
Kiichi's struggling/suffering not only during the first arc but later on as well, would serve also an example. Though its not always directly shown, since martial arts and the way of martial arts is put into focus.
In my opinion the other genres weigh more, so don't worry all to much. Basically if ya like Seinen and martial arts, then this is for you.
