I saw a lot of the threads on male yanderes, but I've read most of the recommendations or didn't like the description of the anime/manga. I would prefer the manga to be fairly short, and the yandere not to take forever to develop. Also, I would like it to be a manga, but I am fine with anime too.

I would be nice if the manga/anime was not to horror. I know yanderes in general are kind of in the horror realm, but I would prefer the horror not to be too extreme. I'd like a younger yandere. In other words I don't want to read about a middle aged yandere. It would be nice if the yandere was cuter, but this is not mandatory. I don't want it to be BL please. No smut as well.

Risou no Kareshitachi is about the shortest, fastest developing male yandere manga I know. There's suspense, but I wouldn't call it horror, per se.

Also, high-school age guy(s), no BL, and no smut. The art style depicts guys cute, but I feel that way about most shoujo manga, so... It is a one-shot, though.

Non-BL male yandere anime? If there is one, I'd like to know! They usually tone it down for anime. It's never got quite as much of the gut-punching "woah, what a crazy bastard!" factor.

Flowers of Evil fits, but forewarning it has incest and a non-graphic sex scene later in the series. Pretty twisted and messed up series, so not sure if it's quite what you're looking for.

Hakuji may be more what you're looking for, as it's short and pretty cute iirc. It's not super yandere but I suppose it qualifies.

I've heard Visukiisu no Akai Ningyou has a male yandere in it but haven't read it to confirm - it's a one-shot though so it's short!

If you try with Obsessive love tag (avoid yaoi) perhaps you could find some male yandere characters

@dianachan Thanks for your recommendations. I think I understand the ending to Nejimaki Mano-san.

Mano falls in love Noda, so I think she goes to his desk and cries and tells him to cut her hair for some reason I forget why. Then Mano develops some yandere-like qualities and wants Noda all to herself. Noda then cuts her hair and doesn't want to fall in love with her again, so he tells her not to look at him and covers his eyes. Mano then feels heart broken. She later gets friends and sees him looking out the window. Since she doesn't have hair long enough for braids, she loses her self control and looks like she's about to cry since she was rejected by Noda.

This is just a theory but I don't understand much either...
