I started reading one piece Aeons ago... and when there was nothing to read 'cause some lack in scanlation( one of those slumps manga's get sometimes) i started reading Groove rave adventure. They were really diferent but then i found one piece changed a lil his art it went better detailed and well u know as if mangaka got lots of assistants and later the same thing happened to Rave and they started to look REALLY Alike as if groove were copying some of the art style. And looking how Fairy tail goes by the same trend... here's the question.

Do anyone Knows if by any chance mangaka's share their assistants? i'd love to know if hiro and oda share the same assistants.

Well, I had read somewhere both Oda and Mashima worked as WATSUKI Nobuhiro's assistants, along with Takei Hiroyuki (Shaman King).

I don't think assistants are shared.

Lol... never cared to check who was the mangaka of rurouni kenshin and now it turns out its the same thats doing busou renkin O_o never saw anything alike in both O_o.

Thanks for the answer it may explain some things or at least why one doesnt get mad if the other is copying his style. Or maybe both want the same style.

If I remember right, Hiro Mashima worked on One Piece as an assistant for a while. Now I'm not sure which one influenced the other. Especially since OP has been running for more than ten years; a persons art can visibly change.
