Hehe jeah you got me! it almost happened today so Im totally confused!!
Wowww. That's a really difficult situation, I have been in a similar one, and one of my friends was in exactly that situation.
You are best friends, and probably the guy has a huge crush on you if he risks to destroy your friendship while trying to further your relationship.
If your in that situation, the best thing you can do is to stop seeing him for awhile. If you just tell him to not do it again, that you don't like guys, but you can still be friends, that won't stop the crush, and probably will make it bigger, coz your friend will think that you didn't react to it too bad, and he might have a chance in the future.
So, stop seeing him for a while (2 or 3 months). Tell him how disappointed you are of him and warned him that you might react violently to a similar situation for pure impulse, coz you definitely don't do guys.
If you really value your friendship, talk with other friends, and try to hook uo this guy with some dude, that will kill the crush faster.
Edit: It seems I misunderstood and you are in the opposite role.
Seriously, if he doesn't feel attraction for the people of his same sex.
DON'T DO IT. REALLY BAD IDEA.
My two friends that were in that situation. The hetero guy just stopped talking with the other guy for 2 years, and he became a homophone in that time.
Just get another boyfriends and chill out.

Didn't know Hera was a girl, for some reason I just assumed that Hera was a guy. I don't even know in what situation she is now. If she is hetero, bi or lez. Or if she id the one being kissed or the kisser.
She didn't make it very clear, did she?

well obviously rule 37 (j/k)
but seriously something subconscious going on there? perhaps seeing yaoi on the releases page so often is starting to affect us?
hhhmm rule 37 😕 ??
Well I don't know about yaoi, but me being the yuri fanatic that I am I thought more girls would react to this forum than guys.
especially since I thought most guys wouldn't like to think about such situations 😔
the rules of the internet "no girls on the internet"(according to /b/ 4chan anyway)
i guess the thread made ppl think then

umm, how does hera being a female change anything?
if someone like your bestfriend suddenly kisses you out of no where and means it, it really has nothing to do with your sexual orientation or gender

you're right her being a girl changes nothing about the situation (probably).
I just corrected mm on his asumption that hera a guy was.

Ok
So what I understand is that her best friend kissed her, she considers herself an heterosexual, even though she didn't dislike it, and she doesn't know what to do.
If that is the case....if you're 100% heterosexual you will dislike a situation like that. If you even feel like kissing her back, then there is something there.
Kiss her back, so she knows that you didn't take the first kiss as offensive, and then explain her that you are not sure of your own feelings and that you want to take it slow.
I probably misunderstood everything again.....so don't mind me too much.
Edit: I was thinking....actually..if this is the case, the fact that your best friend is not the biggest issue, that problem is that you might be gay.

What would I do? If they got across they were serious: Glare at the guy as if he was an idiot. Get on with my day. Probably be really flattered. Continue friendship.
But with my better friends, if they kissed me I'd definitely assume it was a joke, and it would be really hard for them to convince me otherwise (Because, of course, we act gay towards each other as a joke all the time).

Hmmmmm depends.
If it seemed like a joke, I'd just take it as one, laugh, & not think too much about it.
If it seemed serious, I'd have to say "As much as I love & value you as a friend, I'm just not physically attracted to women" and hope the friendship would continue as before.
If I couldn't tell how it was meant, I'd probably just stare at her in blank surprise & say something eloquent like "....eh....?" 🤣

Eloquent. Yes. I think if I didn't know how it was meant, I'd say something eloquent like, "brains!" and bite the guy on the skull. Fun times.

"wo wo wo wo, are you serious" would be my first line
if serious then i would reply
"sorry but i dont swing that way, just stay as my friend ok"
if not serious but it was some kind of joke i would just beat the living #$% out of him
