Aaah fruits basket. My all time favorite manga! I love EVERYTHING! But I do love the episode where Hatsuharu was introduced, the part where when they were gonna start running, and Hana says she'll do her best and after one step falls on her knees holding her heart and says that she can't continue..while holding Tohru's hand. I found it hilarious...
and also like loudmouthgirl42, I also like the first time she sees them change.
But one of the most heartbreaking moments ( and my absolute favorite moments )is when Tohru

sees Kyo turn into his real form. It was so sad... I love that scene and how she reacts and his reaction. 'sigh*

"I have the true feeling of myself only when I am unbearably unhappy."

I haven't read fruits basket, but I likes the anime. When does the anime end with respects to the manga?

around vol. 10 i think... maybe sooner? it doesnt cover much of the manga which is y im trying 2 read it all

Hm... I haven't re-read it in a while, so it's a bit hazy...

But I think my favorite part was when Hatsuharu was messing with the class president... I couldn't stop laughing. (I'd find the volume/the exact occurrence, but I think it's currently lent out to someone... Either that or it was lost.)

I've gotta say, though, situations with either Ritsu or Ayame also rank up there in hilarity...

Any of the moments shared between Yuki and his older brother Ayame, hilarious!

Also, i don't know why, but the moment when the three Yuki fan club members goes to visit Saki Hanajima's house to find her weakness and ends up meeting and becoming terrified of her brother instead. 🤣

I like all of the moments when tohru and kyo were together - cute

and i also like when ayame and yuki were together, very hilarious!! I like it when Yuki says somehtin nice about his brother then Ayame tells everything to Hatori - very funny. 😀 😀 😀

I've read it a long time ago... But I remember that I really loved when Kyo and Yuki argued- "baka neko!, kso mezumi!!" LOL

And, when Torou's friends came to visit, all the guys in the house turned into thier animal form so the escaped and hided in the bushes, where Shigure pretented to be excersising. Also-LOL

But the ultimate reacuing sean i cannot get used to is when they turn back from being animals naked and Tohru flips 🤣

^^ Weell, I liked it when Momiji was telling the story of the traveller - it was sooo sweet, I ended up telling all my friends it (over and over again, because I would forget I told them already) so by the end of my fruits basket over-passion everyone in my class knew that story so well. =.=

Aaand, I like the part where Tohru lets it slip that she knows about Rin and Hatsu and then she goes and try to cover it up, aaand and and, the parts about

Kyouko with Kyo when he was small (sooo cute)

and then the the the part where

Momiji gives up on Tohru

All the chapters that centered around Katsuya/Kyoko (Tohru's parents.)

It made me...dare I say, sad? 😢

Definitely my favorite part has to be volume 16 where they tell Tohru's parents story how they met and gave birth to Tohru. It was a very, very touching part of the entire series. 😃

Everything centered around the Mabudachi Trio:
Hatori is love.
Ayame and Shigure annoying Yuki. It makes me happy inside.
Ayame and Shigure annoying Hatori.

And:
-'Operation invade the wave girl's house'
-Whenever Tohru huggles Kisa squealing "I love you!"
-Momiji showing up in the girl's uniform. So cute.
-The story about Uo-chan meeting Tohru.

I really liked the moments with Rin and Haru.

And anything to do with Haru's black side is hilarious.

Hatori coming to take Ayame away from bothering Yuki is always good for my amusement. Hatori's a great 'straight-man'. (You'd think Ayame was the dog the way he follows Hatori around.) ^.^

Hiiro, trying to grow up, and then reverting back to a child to play with Kisa, even though it made him grumble to do it.

Momo moments are adorable too.

If you've ever thought or said "Nice Guys finish last" and really meant it, then you should probably read this LJ post by DivaLion. It's incredibly insightful whether you're male or female.

I would say, as this is my favorite manga EVAR, that this is a hard question, but the sad parts; where Hatori is going into his memory about his lost love), the part where Yuki and Kyo fight each other and admiting their jealousy, Kyo finding Tohru and kisses her when she is unconsious and when Tohru tells Kyo her feelings. Funny would be anything with Yuki's brother Ayame in it and Valentine's day (especially in the anime)
