It has a certain aspect of flavor that makes it far superior to most other flavors. Gimme some nice pork rinds or potato chips, and I'm golden.

Maybe that's why in ancient times, Salt was worth it's weight in gold.

I'm thinking that was actually because salt was the only way to preserve meat back in the day.

Capt. Obvious, AWAAAAY! 😁

Tongue in cheek references to historical fact, that was.

Also, it was not only for preservation purposes, because that was not the only way to preserve meat. Drying and smoking and jerkying were all used.

Also, other spices were quite a bit more valuable than salt, such as saffron and such.

Most spices were used to cover up the taste of rotten food.

So.

No pwning occurred, though it was tried.

oh come on, just admit it, he got you good. 😃

Salt is pretty bad nowadays. It's bad for your heart, kidney, liver, and blood vessels. If only people in the fast knew about the true face of salt

I like salty food.
I just can't imagine
eating sweet meat...
Well, I can, but I can't
eat a lot of it.

I regularly eat sweet meat. In the Philippines we have this recipe called tocino which is pork with sugar, etc (yeah I know it sounds disgusting yet it's actually a very popular national dish)

By simply trying to pwn me, he was selfpwnt, thus making it an ahopwnt.

By trying to state a pwn on me, you are being selfpwnt.
