So, if I'm not mistaken, some topics especially from the adult forum got deleted? I agree with that, not because I want to constrain the freedom of speech, but because the adult forum is in the "manga" part and not in the chatter box.

You could have read everything I just wrote in the Adult forum rules, too, but I have another reason to start a new thread.
It's about the attitude of some people in this forum. So far, most posts in this forum have been friendly enough (except when it came to naruto, maybe 😁 ). But then, when I criticized one topic (to be specific: it was the "pubic hair" topic), I got this:

Well, the first reason why I wanted to show you this PM: It's just funny. Especially the last sentence.
The second reason: If the tone of the conversations becomes like this, this forum, no, even the whole mu site will lose its credibility as a serious manga information site. This may have been a PM, but: if people already think that way in private, it isn't a big step to think and express yourself that way publicly. Sure, the mods would probably censor a post like that, but it wouldn't do any good to the forum.
So, my point is, please, refrain from expressing this kind of immature attitude.

everyone has the right to make a thread on whatever they like, as long as its in the right section on the forums.
it can be a question about manga, it can be a question about life, it can be a poll about how you clip your toe nails, its for the poster to decide, and only for the admin to make a justified, legal desition about locking.

and the del about you quoting a pm without permission, was totally jerky thing to do.

People should respect the forum rules and not write stuff like that. It's immature. I think that it's in the Global thread too.

But on PM, I'd say that you can say anything you want.

I don't think that topics should be deleted, I think that they should just be locked with explanation, so people will know what to do. Plus, the Adult section seems to be more of a general section than anything else. Stuff in the Chatter Box has been moved there by an admin/mod when the discussions got to be 18+.

I'm gonna have to go with the side that says "private messages are called private for a reason". Unless the other person gave permission, don't quote private messages in a public forum.

First of all, the thread got deleted on "request" by Dark_Sage.
And private messages should stay private. If someone is flaming you on PM and you just can't stand it anymore, you should report them to an admin/mod and not post them in the forum.
