They are absolutely different.
Seriously.CD and Cassette's both play music. But they come in different packaging and quality.
Comic books and Manga both have pictures. That's it.Comic books have a unique drawing style.
Comic books are typically smaller. (in pages)
Comic books have a different target market.
Comic books cost less then manga. (I'm not talking about crazy collectors editions)
Comic books usually concentrate on different subjects.
Comic books are usually in colour. There is no way you can call them the same thing. That's like calling a comic book a picture book for kids.
I also think that anime is a type of cartoon.

No. I don't use Japanese words unless I'm talking about something Japanese.
EDIT: Oh, I thought you meant using "manga" to refer to manga. I do NOT use Japanese words in my sentences. I do not go around saying kawaii and things like that o.o

[I'm getting more at the people who just slip it in because they think they are cool. Like using the words like Kawaii or Sugoi. They aren't really...useful. Typically.
Here's a video on how to say Kawaii and Sugoi like a REAL Japanese person!
I die every time.
Anyways. I'm done with that argument. I don't like it and that's that.
HAHAHAHAHA
Brrrrriilliant! 🤣
and yeah, I'd have to agree with you there.
"Kawaii" is a banned word in my dictionary 😐
Forget speech, people use them in forums and chatrooms...drives me up the wall.

I have never used Japanese words in my speech. Nor have I heard anyone around me to use them 😕 (Of course I don't count anime/manga terms and the like)
However it is a different issue if it's about blending my native language with English. It is really common in my school, especially as most of our classes are taught in English. I personally find it really ugly and it bothers me a lot when I can remember only the English equivalent of certain words 😔 I like our language and I don't think it deserves to be spoiled anymore that way xD

I was on a mangafox forum and someone used Dorama instead of Drama.
REALLY!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?
I think it's cool that the Japanese use actual English words, but just spell them/ pronounce them wrong. Whatever.
But if you're English and you use the Japanese spelling/pronounciation... I WILL FLAME YOU!OMG Makes me so mad. D:<
Um. o__o
It is actually called Dorama. It's to differentiate just regular Dramas from Japanese dramas. 🤣 There's nothing wrong with saying Dorama when you're referring to a Japanese drama.🤣
This is how you do it.
Blak, none of your links ever work for me. 🤣

No, it's still redirecting.
I could get it to work, but I had to copy the link location and put it in the address bar manually to see the actual picture.
Edit: Ah, mod powers come in handy, huh?

Oh god... one of the girls in my Anime society recently got my phone number and she texted me something which is a mixture of Japanese and English I was quite annoyed but then again she does wear a dog collar and sometimes cat (dog) ears, so I should expect shes gone far beyond the realms of otaku for her to be able to understand the difference.
Do not feed the trolls

no never, it sounds weird, even though sometimes I tend to mix english/german when I'm speaking in my native language usually only for technical term.
I don't like to mix word from a language which I'm not fluent. I mean mostly those ppl who japanese words in their sentences can't even speak japanese for daily conversation 🤣

the japanese do it themselves, why can't we? is what I think.
Have you seen the amount of english/engrish that is out there, and other foreigners also add in certain english words to make themselves look 'cool'.
We use a lot of other languages in our speech, such as de ja vu, asta la vista etc, I honestly see no problem with it.
Since I speak roughly 4 languages, I tend to slip in and out of them when speaking, I think you shouldn't do it online unless the other person knows what you are saying, for instance if someone said 'sugoi' in an email to me, I'd get it but saying it an online forum where people don't get the japanese culture/language is a no-no, I think it's nice as long as there's no racism or they're making fun.

Well Japan does it for English, it's only fair. They use English because they think it's cool.
If we don't like people using Japanese in their sentences because we think it sounds stupid, does that look like we think Japanese is beneath usage in English sentences?
Sure it IS stupid but I'm just saying...
