Japanese to English Translators and Editors,
AnimeCouncil (AnCo2)

Born from the downfall of the AnimeCouncil fansub group, AnimeCouncil2 is becoming a niche high quality scanlation group.

We are currently in the process of scanlating Kage Kara Mamoru, and Getsumento Heiki Miina which are becoming increasingly popular anime series.

Translator: (Editors see below.)

Duties:

• Coherently translate pages of untranslated manga into English.
• Explore options for further manga to translate.

The applicant will be expected to become a member of the forums, complete work in a timely fashion, and will need to pass a test before becoming a translator for AnCo2. Previous experience a bonus.

Editor:

Must Own:

• Photoshop, The GIMP, or other high quality graphic editor.

Duties:

• Clean, Level, Align, Typeset, and Redraw portions of pages with English text provided by the respective translator.
• Accept work from other editors for redrawing.
• Write inquiries to the translator/proofer in times of concern.

The applicant will be expected to become a member of the forums, complete work in a timely fashion, and will need to pass a test before becoming an editor for AnCo2. Previous experience an asset.
