I recently created a new tag here on MU, 'Territory Management'.

Series with territory management elements are among my favorite, including things like civil adminstration, economics, trade and taxation, feudalism and nobility, diplomacy and vassalage, politics, land management, socio-economic development, and so on.

Any recommendations would be very welcome - or even better, please use & add the 'Territory Management' tag to relevant series, on an ongoing basis.

I tend to follow shonen/seinen series more, so those would be preferable but not essential. Looking forward to the community's suggestions.

(I will do more edits if I find other titles or similar tags)

There is likely a lot of overlap with the "Kingdom Building" tag. (~80 titles with this tag)

Edit: the 'Production Skills/Jobs' tag will probably have a few 'Territory management' titles

Tagged one I remembered, but it also had the "Kingdom Building" tag, so you may want to look that tag up.

Thanks for the replies, yes I'm aware of the 'Kingdom building'. I feel many 'Kingdom building' series have 'Territory management' elements, but feel there are a lot of series that have territory management elements that don't fall under kingdom building - for example all the series we see involving a noble/lord and their respective territoy (feels like there are a fair number of these nowadays).

Please do keep using the 'Territory management' tag when you see suitable series to tag.

I was just saying to look for Kingdom Building because I thought you may be interested in those stories or find some more to mark from that list, not as a way to say Territory Management isn't a useful tag (I think it is useful since there are non-kingdom building manga where managing territory is a theme).

I agree that 'Territory management' is a valid tag. I saw that your new tag had only a few uses so I gave the url link to MU's 'kingdom building' tag to give you a starting point since I saw there was some overlap when I went to tag "Isekai Mokushiroku Mynoghra - Hametsu no Bunmei de Hajimeru Sekai Seifuku".

Can someone please explain why the tag was deleted from this website?

I was also mystified by the unexplained disappearance of the tag.

Upon querying it with 'lambchopsil', ostensible admin of this website, I received no explanation and merely a suggestion to create it again.

So I have created the tag once more, but this will be the last time if it is deleted again. I have also started re-adding the tag to relevant series.

To the MU community - please do also continue to add the tag to any appropriate series, thank you.
