Hey I am looking for less popular romance manga, I tend to dislike the more popular ones or have already read them. I tend to like historical and fantasy romance the most, but am open to any other genre's except school life, horror, tragedy(Though I can deal if it has a happy or bittersweet ending) and physiological. Some of my favorites are:
The world is still beautiful(I like how you know who the male lead is, so you get to see them mature and just fall deeper in love)
For the Sake of Dulcinea(A little sad but I love the art style)
Kanta Kara
Steping on Roses
Yona of the dawn(I like more of the adventure feel, personally I don't like the romance aspect)
Shinbone Shijuusou(I am a sucker for protective malesT-T)
Sabaku no Harem(A little slow, but has PLOT to make up for it)
Suijin no Ikenie

you can take a look at my lists, rated them and is almost exclusively romances. I tried to stay away to most of the popular stuff too, so you should have something to find there.
Normally I would straight up recommend Bonnouji but I just dunno if that's what you are looking for...
