Hello, I am looking for a manga/anime/book/movie whatever in which an assassin or hired killer falls in love with their intended target. I'd prefer it if the assassin were male and I'm not a big fan of yaoi but I'll read it if it's really good.

By the way the only example I know of what I'm asking for is Margaret Atwood's The Blind Assassin.

To-Love Ru Darkness. Yami was sent to kill Rito, but stuff happened and she halted her plans. Every time he tries to be friendly towards her, she would remind him that her goal is still to kill him. Gradually, she developed feelings of trust/friendship towards him. Read to find out more, although I have to warn you that this is just a subplot of the series.

A book i'm reading sounds like it might have what your looking for. Its called 'Angel Burn' by l.a. weatherly. Its part of a trilogy, and the author does switch between the 'assassin' and the 'target' but its still a pretty awesome read. Though i'm not even half way done with it yet lol so it might change. 🙂
