Do you have any? If you do, list them and explain why you like them the most (For the people that don't live in your country, of course).
For me, there can only be one...
Al Bundy from "Married....With Children".
Throughout the entire series, he goes through a lot of crap, but usually comes out alright in the end, But, there was ONE episode that cemented his status as a GAR character.
I just watched it Monday. It was an episode in the last season. Al gets visited by Lucifer and sells his soul to play for the Chicago Bears. Afterwards, he gets sent to Hell, but then realizes that Hell was exactly like his life.
In other words, as soon as Al got married to Peg, he has LITERALLY been in Hell ever since. And he hasn't once decided to end it all, but instead to just tough it out and continue to do what he has to do until he dies!
Now how could you not respect a person like that?

Just because someone's head was chopped off doesn't mean they're dead. That's just silly.

I love Al Bundy too, I have the first nine seasons of Married...with Children on DVD and I still enjoy seeing all the episodes even if I've seen them like a hundred times 😀
My friends always wondered how I could love him so much cause he was so sexist at times, but that's just what makes him a classic character. His line on how it's only cheating when you get caught, XD first time I heard it and I follow that principle till this day. I also remember a line where he said something about the opera being done when the last straight person is sleeping I was rofl, it's so true especially concerning guys. Anyway you have to admire a man who has so much bad luck (and has yet to kill himself though he mentions it a lot), but still manages to continue with his life and try to live happily, with such a dysfunctional family.
Um my other favs are Stewie Griffin (gottta love the evil geniuses) and Joey Tribbiani one of the many reasons I continued watching Friends his humor never failed to amuse me. There's a lot more but I can't really remember names at the moment.

Lucy (I Love Lucy) - She was the reason why I began watching American television.
Dany Scully , Fox Mulder (X Files) - They were the reason why I kept watching.
Dwight Schrute (The Office, US) -
Who wouldn't love a fascist nerd who sells paper for a living?
I would point out the top cast of Married with Children, too, but the memory of Peg's hair just brings up bad memories.

Gosh, that's a hard one. Erm...of the top of my head it would be.
Spike from Buffy
Max Evans from Roswell
Sam Winchester from Supernatural (though Dean is cuter I think)
Charlie Eppes from Numb3rs
Peter Petrelli from Heroes
Dexter Morgan from Dexter
The pen is mightier than the sword...and considerably easier to write with.

I agree, they're awesome. I liked Spike from Buffy as well.

My favorites are Simon Baker from the Mentalist, the cast of N.C.I.S., Selma Blair from Kath & Kim (U.S. Version), Tina Fey (her show, 30 Rock, is SO funny), the cast of Everybody Loves Raymond, and... Will, Jack, and Karen from Will & Grace! Love those three! 😀
