Geez. What a place to end the chapter!

Terrible chapter. The only redeeming quality was the ending, other than that, Kishimoto made a chapter that could've been decent into an epic fail.

I don't think it was bad. It just felt short. And very transitional like. It's a "Battle of the Kages", not a "Let's tease you with the ending!".

I feel he should have stayed with Sasuke who he left off with last week, but I guess there's nothing good to do with Sasuke and he doesn't want to rush the reunion with Itachi I suppose.

In other words, slight transitional filler.

Agreed. How many times do I have to watch that earth or rock or whatever kage saying I won't give up to Madara. It's honestly getting on my nerves. Felt like a complete waste of pages to show his past and whatnot.

And the ending was such a tease.

lets just hope he focuses the entirety of the next chapter on Sasuke and Itachi. 🙂

It only hapened that way because Itachi was sick! EVERYONE knows that if he wasn't already DYING he would have totally pwnd Sasuke's butt. Now, not only can he not die, he has all his old powers, won't run out of chakra, and the only way to beat him is to seal his spirit of appease the soul---and we ALL know that that ain't gonna happen anytime soon. These fights are gonna be epic! But how are the kages gonna fight and/or beat Madara? He has the sharingan, the rinnegan, wood jutsu, was the 2nd stongest of his era, can copy all their moves, and has the abilities of THE strongest ninja implanted into him. They are so screwed.

I don't care about Sasuke, Madara or the hogake I just wanna see the Naruto x Sasuke fight or something cool; Also I think maybe it's me but I feel that is getting near its end...Naruto made everyone knows of his true powers...Everyone's on battle, I wanted to see the team that went for Sasuke (neiji, kiba, shikamaru, the fat one, & naruto) to fight as a team. D;

Actually, Itachi's dying status had nothing to do with letting Sasuke win, at least not physically. Itachi could defeat a super-powered Sasuke any time of the day with his hands tied behind his back, blind, and coughing blood. Not killing Sasuke was due to the little fact that, you know, he is his little brother, and he promised to always be there for him.

The same can be said about the others' clothes & weapons. Plus, the organs decompose over time, but apparently the Edo Tensei returns the dead in a good shape. Madara is the only one who came back stronger than how he was in his prime, according to Kabuto.

Well, the last time, he had only, like, two panels. It was good to see how it was like when he was young, seeing an old man's journey. The Tsuchikage seemed wise; I liked what he said about Will. They kind of don't match, though, the Will of Fire, referring to their country's name, and the Will of Stone, referring to their village's name. What about the Wills of the other great villages?

Anyway, if Ounoki died/dies, it would have been/be great. I like Last Stands, like Kisame's.
