There are so many great artists here at MU! Can't wait to see the new layout when the new mascot is chosen. It was a tough choice but I went with blakraven66's. Good luck to everyone!

As good as the craftsmanship in MI.e's work is...I doubt it will make a good mascot. It just looks too much like any other generic ecchi anime character, and aside from the MU band there's nothing in it to make it stand out and to make it look original. It's also too complicated to draw. I believe mascots are called mascots for a reason: if they're gonna be plastered all over merchandise then they should just remain cute, clean, and simple. If it's simple enough to be made into a plushie, a small keychain, or to be pasted as a design at a side of a pen, then it's a good mascot.

The cow is very cute, but it looks too kiddie for a manga site.^^ Kamikun's is nice...it really screams "I read too much manga!"...but I just wish it was more neatly drawn. 🙁

I still want to vote for bumu too. Heheh. Too cute. Very original. XD

The ears make it look like pikachu, but if you change the tail and the limbs, it looks like a frakenkitty to me.

Liked the last one..cant see MI.e's being a mascot though its well drawn, since it should be simple enough to also make smileys out of....someday.. and yeah, the most popular one does look like Pikachu 🤣

Although I did go with blakraven's one (gotta say, it's damn cute), I do think that it doesn't suit that colour scheme of the site that much. But hey, I still love it.
And yeah, I agree with razril, although Ml.e's looks really good and all, and the colours go with the site and it's amazing in general, it just doesn't represent MU enough.

A color scheme and site layout change has been mentioned in the past I think. Even if the color scheme didn't change, I don't think it would be that much of a trouble of chnaging its colors....right blackraven?
