Since db focuses on JP, KR, CN comics I guess Russian won't affect much.

Sonetimes adding translation/localization and its romanization or whatever in official translations to author's associated name resulted in incorrect information (i've seen a lot).

They're completely different person, but series by others show on their MU page.
People will think that they're the same or they also work in other countries' comic industry.
Or updaters create another X (II), while X is from translation version and that author have never worked under the name X before.

Some official translations shorten their name to given or surname only, or initialisms (like JH can be Jonghoon, Jihyo, Jaehyun, Jihoon, Jaehan, Jihye, Jihyun, Jiho, etc.)

Tons of people with that name out there so it's better not to add the shortened version to associated names,
or if updaters add initialisms, it's better to include author's full name in parentheses.

People have completely different native names, in some cases completely different romanizations, but in other translation versions, their names are the same.

Or one's native name is exactly the same as translation of others' name.

For those who have both native and romanized name the same, I think it's better not to add anything that can make confusion.

If author do work under that name, or original sites show that name, it's OK. But if they never, i think it's best not to add.

I mean romanization of their native name or in some cases official English translation for some names such as Spice&Kitty as main is enough, sometimes adding translated/localized and its romanization, shortened version to associated field just make things more complicated.

I don't know how to express my thoughts in better way 😢 Hope someone could understand or make it easier to understand.
