Hey! Not sure if it's right place to ask, so sorry if it's misplaced...

So I've been thinking about getting the Novel, since I already have the 3 volumes of the manga (by Viz), but there are 2 versions (they're probably different even in overall content because I don't think they'd bother translating and releasing the same book another company had already put out):

  • Train Man by Nakano Hitori Published by Robinson Publishing in July 2006 (320 pages)
  • Train Man by Nakano Hitori Published by Del Rey Books in April 2007 (403 pages)

I don't really know what the difference is between them so I was wondering if anyone knew or if anyone had one of them (or both??)?

In case I don't come to any particular conclusions I'll probably get the one from Del Rey. Thanks in advance!

The "novel" is less of a novel and more of a transcription of 2ch message boards, ostensibly. The reality is that most of the sentences are tweaked here and there by ghostwriters, but the core is essentially as-is.

As to the differing versions, one is a British translation and one is American. The page difference can be attributed to design and formatting (formatting internet posts can take many different forms). Pick whichever you like.

NightSwan also said that she wanted to peg me, once, but I'm not sure whether to take that as a compliment or a threat...
