So what do you all think about this? I wanted to get a PS3 lately because they finally had a year where most of their games didn't suck (2009), but now this makes me wanna snatch up one even faster...

You can record TV shows and save them to your hard drive to view them later. You could practically save entire seasons of shows on it.

You can record TV shows and save them to your hard drive to view them later. You could practically save entire seasons of shows on it.
That saves a lot of time from downloading the episodes, putting them onto a USB, THEN watching it through the PS3.
Useful little gadget it seems. I should let my friend know about that.

Almost as usefull as downloading the stuff from the internet onto your PC and then streaming it through your home network. For me anyways. TV over here sucks balls and all the good brittish and american shows I've already seen through streaming or downloads.
Could be handy though, if your connection sucks ass, you don't have internet or a computer.
Chances are, if you buy a PS3 you at least have a PC with internet.
